There was a 27% clause in their respected contracts that Arum could invoke if they fought on another promoters card where Arum had not financial upside. When Arum promotes a card it is against federal law for him to take a percentage of a fighters purse, while he is also receiving site fees, liscencing fees, ad dollars, etc.... on the same fight.
