The manager will get 30%, the trainer will get 10% and he will pay back any training camp advances to Arum.
So yes after losing 40% he will walk with about 3 million minus expenses and taxes. Not to bad.
wow, i love boxing, but
what if it were a league like other professional sports where you have set schedules each year.....like the showtime super six.............i know that sounds dumb but then these guys couldnt pick and choose their opponents or avoid mandatories....

I cant believe people think Clottey is getting ripped off.
Who else can he fight and make a Mill?
Matter of fact, who else can fight?
How many tickets can Clottey sell anywhere?
The guy lost his last fight and was ready to quit because he thought he got robbed, which he didnt. And now hes getting a Million $ AND a chance to beat one of the top sellers/P4P fighters in boxing.
Even if he loses he still gets more exposure than he ever would, and he can leverage that against his next opponent.
You guys need to go back to business school.

Yes he could always punch but harder than Cotto? This dude couldnt knock out Oscar Larios with Larios coming off a 3rd round stoppage loss but all of a sudden he can walk Cotto down then stop him? Doesnt seem right to me. I've watched a lot of great fighters move up in weight but never like this specially coming from someone who wasnt a KO artist.
