I think if Hearns would've asked Hagler or Hagler would've asked Leonard they would've did it because they would want people to know that they were clean.
I read a great article today. For those who haven't read it:

Interesting that you believe that. But, that is cool is your opinion. And, lets say Hagler or Leonard would of refused would you stop being a fan of there's and you would be su****ious of them?

The manager will get 30%, the trainer will get 10% and he will pay back any training camp advances to Arum.

So yes after losing 40% he will walk with about 3 million minus expenses and taxes. Not to bad.
30% what a disgrace for the fighters and trainers who do all the work while the manager makes a few calls.....
        wow, i love boxing, but
what if it were a league like other professional sports where you have set schedules each year.....like the showtime super six.............i know that sounds dumb but then these guys couldnt pick and choose their opponents or avoid mandatories....

I cant believe people think Clottey is getting ripped off.

Who else can he fight and make a Mill?

Matter of fact, who else can fight?

How many tickets can Clottey sell anywhere?

The guy lost his last fight and was ready to quit because he thought he got robbed, which he didnt. And now hes getting a Million $ AND a chance to beat one of the top sellers/P4P fighters in boxing.

Even if he loses he still gets more exposure than he ever would, and he can leverage that against his next opponent.

You guys need to go back to business school.

A good manager will pay training expenses and living expenses for a fighter for years before they ever see any kind of return on their investment. Say this guy managed Clottey for 3 years and spent upwards of 150 grand keeping him up and keeping him in training. Is there something wrong with him making 300 grand? He is in business to make money as well, right?

You could say that, or you could look at it the other way. It being clottey's biggest pay day and the opportunity of a life time. Pac is expected to beat clottey, if he loses he wont have any more 10 million dollar plus fights, on the other hand if clottey wins he will have put himself in a position to make millions more than he probably ever imagined. And clottey is tough, a very good boxer, with a good chin and very good defense. Cotto didn't come close to hurting clottey. It is a pretty risky fight for pac considering clottey isn't bringing a title to the table or a big name.

Yes he could always punch but harder than Cotto? This dude couldnt knock out Oscar Larios with Larios coming off a 3rd round stoppage loss but all of a sudden he can walk Cotto down then stop him? Doesnt seem right to me. I've watched a lot of great fighters move up in weight but never like this specially coming from someone who wasnt a KO artist.

Jro I talked to my dad an his buddies. And the Hearns steroid talk stuff was Haerns just talking ****. And Steward ran with it. It was nothing. Hearns said that he didnt think SRL was on roids he was playing around.

So i dont think thats a fair comparsion.

He is heavier and has retained his hand speed. Do you have any idea how power is generated?
