But a 38 year old Mosley compared to say 5 to 10 years ago that Mayweather should have fought?
NO.
But Pacquiao fighting Morales, Barrera, Marquez in dizzying sequels? Then going up the weight ladder and beating Diaz, DLH, Hatton, Cotto (and hopefully Clottey) in also in a dizzying series of KOs, and TKOs?
Yes, an unprecented feat since Henry Armstrong.
And so resumés also isn't about the name but the timing, frequency and the fashion they were accomplished. That is a more thorough, complete and impressive than just the "name".
...good post...I don't see the Mosley of today having a good chance of catching a chicken...he's got a better chance with a fighter that wants to stand and fight (like Margarito) then trying to chase down a chicken (like Mayweather)...if Mayweather and Mosley were both 31 my money would be on Mosley, right now I just don't see Mosley being up to catching a chicken...
I have the first Barrera fight as Pac best win... I think some people forget what Barrera accomplished before and after that fight. And, how highly touted and ranked Barrera was at the time...
Dude he can make 147. Here was the problem so big between fight(his fault not Shane) So he was out of shape when started training camp for Shane... Anyways he was working on loosing weight.... He got down to 147. Now the day of the weigh-in he was exactly at 147 so he was good.... but, the scale they had in his room was off but like 2lbs... so when he weight it said 149... So then he started running and got in sauna to lose those extra 2lbs before the official weigh-in. 2lbs mind you that he did not have to lose... so he losses them and the official weigh-in comes on he weighs 145.... And, the weight draining come from. If you would try to lose 2lbs in minutes/hours you would get drained too... Anybody would... So yes he was weight drain but he would not had been if his team had a working scale... And, again Shane would of probaly still stop him... But, is true about the draining part...

Was Oscar drained against Pac? Was Hatton drained against Pac?

That was Pacquiao's best win for me too, Because Barrera went on to achieve other things. Barrera made all those excuses about a metal plate in his head blah blah blah but i dont buy it.
Moseley is an ATG and better than any of the fighters on Pac's resume, including Cotto.
Seems to be an retaliation thread *loooooooooooool*
If Mayweather beats Mosley it's not Mayweathers best win. But Mosley is the best fighter that Mayweather fought when it comes to all-time status I guess... so it would be his biggest win...
So you basically have to compare if Mosley is bigger then Morales, Barrera probably even Marquez all-time wise.
