Another in house fight Bob? Really??? Doesn't surprise me in the least bit. Only fools truly believe that Arum had any intentions of serving up his cash cow so Mayweather could slaughter it. Pac vs Marg lol believe me he's not joking about it. I don't know what further proof fans need to see that they want no parts of Mayweather.

Funny enough they said because of Pac's run in politics a summer fight with Mayweather was not possible but now it is for Margorito the cheat who happens to be another top rank fighter lol. If you guys can't see through his BS and stop supporting him.

i know a lot of people here does have negative feelings about bob arum but guys, can't you see that pac-margo is also a good fight? forget about what the businessmen are trying to do, coz that is what they do, they do business. boxing fans, we should focus also on enjoying the fights that is being offerred and i cant understand why a lot of you cannot see that this fight will be a good one, same as pac-cotto and same as pac-clottey. will you always stay hating?

Arum is going to destroy Pac's legacy if he avoids another Pac/PBF fight...All he's doing is padding his pocket and Manny hasn't shown that he's smart enough to notice that it is his legacy that is going to be tarnished, not Arum's - as all Arum cares about is the money...BTW, I'm not calling Pac dumb because he can be a great boxer, cool person but not a savvy business man...The sad part is Pac trusts Arum and doesn't believe he would do anything to harm him...Now, let's be clear, I'm taking about LEGACY NOT MONEY...because Arum has made him tons of Money! Remember Arum managed both ODLH and PBF...and they both left him because they were better informed about the business side of things and weren't as trusting as Pac.

But back to Pac and his legacy - do to the missteps and lies, everything Arum has done to build up Pac is slowly being undone...Can you believe how much luster Pac has already lost??? Before the PBF negotiations, Pac was on the verge of Superstardom...But right before our very eyes Pac is undeniably being rebranded - His loyal supporters will love him no matter what, because that's what supporters do...but MOST, not all fringe and true boxing fans now view him in a totally different light - AND THESE ARE THE FOLKS WHO TAKE YOU TO SUPERSTARDOM, NOT YOUR LOYAL SUPPORTERS...

Many people will attempt to blame the Mayweathers for Manny's downfall but that would be a cop out...Arum, Roach and Pac have done far more to damage the Pac brand than PBF could have ever done; Which doesn't make much sense but that's another story altogether...It just never felt like they were inspired to make the fight that everyone wanted to see...and now that they've scheduled Clottey, they're already talking about a potential Margarito fight??? YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME...Watch what happens in this very thread...besides the usual PAC supporters you'll see the majority of NON-PAC STANS RIPPING HIM - Again, it is these boxing fans, fringe fans and media outlets that will make Pac an Iconic Megastar - from the beginning there just wasn't any enthusiasm from them in targeting PBF, they mentioned a lot of options instead of the person that everyone wanted them to challenge - People were in love with Pac and saw him as the confident KO artist that would beat the ****y and brash PBF, but instead he mentioned the likes of Malignaggi and Yuri???

Could you imagine Don King not doing everything he could to make the Tyson/Holyfield or Lewis fights - The Holy/Tyson fight which I might add had random blood tests??? or...Could you imagine GBP or PBF not doing everything they could to make their fight??? Arum from the start, constantly came up with reasons why the fight couldn't be made??? GBP and PBF until the very end never made any other plans...the only time they mentioned another fighter was when Arum officially announced Pac/Clottey which IS a solid fight...but I'm sorry but Clottey, Margarito, Yuri Foreman or any other in house Arum fighter doesn't offer anything that would be classified as career defining - Unless you want to chase the Yuri title but that won't draw any fans beyond diehard Pac fans - Heck, I'll still watch but I'm a boxing fanatic...But let's be clear it damn sure doesn't scream blockbuster...and I think a lot of NON-Pac Fanboys and girls will agree - If Manny is trying to move into the Tyson, Jordan, Tiger, Federer, etc. ICONIC catagory then he'll need a career defining fight and unfortunately PBF is it...Random blood test or not he must choose this fight...Not because PBF says so, or because he hasn't done alot in his career or because he's not nice or a steroid user (which I don't believe) but because the public demands it and unforunately Pac will take the blame even if Arum does all of the lying or obvious spinning...Look at these boards, polls, media outlets, boxers, etc...They're coming down on Pac not Arum...

Pac is a boxer, through and through and I hate to see what he's being rebranded as but if he continues on the current path that Arum has for him, he is going to end up destroying his legacy.

mo, i understand your point. i have been a boxing fan for a long time now and have been following manny even in his early days when he wasn't that popular yet. but telling me that fighting floyd is the only defining moment of his career is kinda absurd for me. for a boxing fan who followed manny, his career was clearly defined when he fought and defeated the likes of barrera, morales, marquez, then bigger fighters starting from diaz, the DLH, then ricky hatton, and finally miguel cotto. you just can't discredit those as not career defining. having 7 belts in 7 divisions? c'mon man, for a truly boxing fan, you should know better than that. i have to agree with you though that he still needs to fight floyd only because currently, they are the best in their division, and they are in their prime, and maybe defeating floyd may define his career some more.

Pac fans are funny, one day they say it's not about wins and losses, the next they Baldomir had this many losses. Don't forget the fact that he was on 21-0 run and was the lineal champ. In that 21-0 run was Pac's future opponent Clottey who we are supposed to give Pac credit for when Clottey hasn't beaten elite WW's.

yea i know that. i have a pretty strong feeling that if floyd does actually fight shane he will demand 10oz gloves. that's why i think he might want it at 154. i will be shocked if he fights shane at 147 with 8oz gloves. take my word on that
