I cant believe you just compared Morales and Barrera to Kimbo Slice and an obvious tomato can to demonstrate fighting spirit.
I know you didnt just compare Muhammad Ali...One of the most quoatable figures in all of human history to a couple of freudian slips of the tongue by an mma fighter and commentator.
I was about to say the same thing... Not fair to MMA at all lol
Alright, there are a lot of boxing vs MMA debates, I'll settle this **** once and for all.
Fighting Spirit
There's 10 seconds left in the round, the fight is up for grabs, what do you do?

Fighter Quotes
Hyping a fight is a big part of the fight game. Here are some quotes from each sport.

Comparing the stamina of two c level Light heavyweight Mixed Martial Artists to two A level Featherweight boxers is the dumbest thing I have ever seen on this message board.
No you don't! People all over the world find Football and Basketball just as entertaining all the time and It's fairly common.
Most of my friends and people I know are fans of both.
It's because Boxingscene forums (and other sites) are filled with immature haters who will hate anything that doesn't involve their favorite boxer/man crush. It's how funny how the boxing fans who hate MMA have no knowledge of MMA and they probably have no knowledge of boxing outside of Pacquiao and Mayweather.

I use to like MMA, and when I discovered boxing I now think MMA is the gayest thing ever. How am I immature for that? I obviously didn't have a bias originally. So now that I think it's gay, I must be immature? It's just not possible someone doesn't just like it, right?
What's even funnier is how on sherdog there are 3-5 threads everyday hating on boxing, and rarely is there ever on here.. Besides today I guess. Don't know what's up with that. Most MMA/UFC fans are the dumbest mutha ****ers ever. The average MMA/UFC has never watched any other sport until they discoverd the UFC. Then they talk about boxing like it's ****ing useless and dead.
Let's not forget that MMGAY fighters have glass jaws. These jokers get knocked out by jabs in the first twenty seconds.

Go back to sherdog with the rest of the closet ****'s and read what they have to say before coming out with such ****.
This whole "hating" started on the mmgay side and it continued and continued until the fad eventually caught on and some notable personality from boxing decided to tell the truth on this ****e.
Most MMGAY fans don't even have a clue about their own sport, let alone the sport of boxing.
The vast majority of Pacquiao fans are also MMGAY fans.

It's your business if you don't like it. It's not immature to have an opinion, but how is comparing two C-level Light Heavyweight MMA fighters to 2 world class boxing legends not immature and bias. I know your not the thread starter, but it's seems like any thread about MMA on this fourm is totally bias with fans who don't even know the difference between UFC and MMA.
I was a boxing fan first and I actually got a lot of my MMA friends into boxing and most of them are fans of both now.
Watch what you want. I will continue to watch both.
