Unbelievable that he talks about giving fans what they want, and the next thing that comes out of his mouth is the Hopkins-Jones PPV.

Has a guy ever had a PPV fight immediately following a 1st round KO loss? **** HBO for this.

Arreola - Adamek, how exciting to see a fight between 2 guys that are 50 lbs apart?
There should be a super HW division for guys above 240 lbs.

I'd take Adamek in that fight, not that he has a ton of movement but Arreola is too slow and unskilled at his weight to fight any elite fighters. He's no George Foreman.

if most of us had our way ,we would be booking trips to vegas for
march 13 to see pac vs. pbf but as we know this isn't a perfect world and boxing with all of its promoters,sanctioning bodies and bad judges is not a perfect sport. Everyone wants to **** on jonesvs.hopkins2. Sure we feel that this should be a free HBO fight. Sure we all of us would have rather seen this fight 8-10 years ago and would have paid out of the a*s to see it,but thats not the case. I am excited about this fight because I believe these guys have genuine dislike and respect for each other. They will come out and give it 100% because they both believe whole heartedly that the other guy has had a great career but is nothing compared to himself. B hop is out for revenge that he has been waiting on for years and Roy wants to prove that no matter what has happened since he 1st met B hop in the ring, that he still is the far superior fighter, The venom between these guys is real. That is what stopped this fight from happening years ago because neither guy was willing to take the smaller % of the split and concede that the other guy was the bigger draw. Some of you say this fight is senseless and has no signifigance. I say this probably is the best fight competively and financially for both guys at this point. Neither of these guys probably has any business in the ring with Chad Dawson right now. It is too high risk/low reward. Historically this is the biggest fight that can be made besides pacvs.pbf. The casual boxing fans yawn at this fight. The trufightfans can appreciate the historical signifigance of this fight even if some posters say its father time vs. old man river. I say I would rather see this fight now than not at all. Dont be suprised if these two vets don't put on a fight of the year canidate type fight. While they may not bring as much to this matchup as they could have ten years ago; one thing for sure is that what they do bring will be left in the ring when it is said and done.

there are some really good fights being thrown around right now. hbo should force the ones the fan's want or not have the fighter fighting on their network. but jones hopkins is the biggest joke i have ever heard of in my life. they can't actually make that fight a ppv. why not just come out and say that it is a charity fundraiser for a clearly broke jones. you literally have to be ******ed to pay to watch these two dinosaurs fight. bhop still has a bit left but he should fight dawson or cloud or get out of the game but jones is just embarrassing. i thought calzaghe jones was the worst ppv ever but this is def going to beat that. DON'T DO IT HBO.

Williams-Pavlik is never gonna happen now. Martinez-Williams 2 or Dzinziruk-Williams will happen instead. Pavlik might fight Martinez.
