Hate to say it but a 24/7 would be watered down with Clottey in it. He's a nice guy an all but he isn't a big name. Furthermore, I don't see how anything about him would be interesting enough to call for a 24/7 series.

You could have said the same thing about Pacquiao, Cotto, Hatton, or even Mayweather. Floyd wasn't a mainstream star until the De La Hoya-Mayweather 24/7 series. 24/7 is about turning relative unknowns into big names.

I believe the main question mark is just how much material both Clottey and Pacman will bring to the table.

Remember, HBO did an extensive profile on Pacman pre-Cotto fight and to relive that wouldn't be a smart move. Especially since nothing is new, with the exception of the Blood-Tests and the failed fight negotiations. Clottey was and is an afterthought .... to play him up outside of that would be a problem because everyone would still view him as a standin.

Its like everybody looking forward to Brad Pitt to do a big interview, he cancels and you end up with Joe Blow as a standin.

This fight is the fight that could when the Floyd vs Pacman couldn't.

I still would like to see the perspective on Clottey's side and how he trains ( the best parts imo)

But with so little to work with since we seen almost every possible angle on pac, they should cut it to 2 episodes this time.
