Any word on Pavlik's next opponent? Hoping he steps up...

I'm hoping Kelly steps up, since winning the title he hasn't done much. Back in '07, he battered Miranda, then took on Taylor to win it. But since then, he didn't look his best in the Taylor rematch, and in his next 4 fights managed to beat Gary Lockett, Marco Rubio and Espino with the loss to Hopkins inbetween. His Middleweight run hasn't lived up to his hype after his KO win over Taylor, so here's to hoping to steps up again soon...

That would be a dangerous fight for Pavlik no doubt. Martinez could keep him turning to stop him setting up his power shots and cruise to a decision, I'd like to see it though.

well pavlik's choices are pretty much martinez or williams so pick your poison.

There is no one interesting at middleweight and I think pavlik & co realize that

The Hopkins fight, and the 2nd Taylor fight to some extent, showed that Kelly has a lot of trouble dealing with guys who use a lot of lateral movement.

The only question is how Martinez reacts if Kelly does catch him flush a few times, IMO.

tbh, I think all 3 have a very good chance of beating him. Infact, i'd pick Pavlik to go 0-3 against those guys, not good style match ups for Kelly.
