My point exactly - Clottey should have at the very least, gotten a similar deal\percentage to what Cotto got to fight Pac. Giving 1mill to Clottey while Pac is taking 70% more is unfair and goes to how much of a snake Arum is.

Actually, Diaz originally was only getting $800k, but after or before the fight, Manny promised to give him an extra $200k. BTW, Cotto is a bigger name than Clottey and he was the defending champion.

Damn! Thats good money but Cotto got 12 million guranteed and 15 million after the PPV buys (Cotto is a big draw so he deserved it!). I think Clottey deserved a little bit more, maybe 4 million or maybe HBO is not putting a lot of money in to this fight.
