  • Is Mayweather vs Mosley a step up from Pacquiao vs Cotto?

Two things to keep in mind

    -Was Cotto at his best?

-Cotto has a victory over Mosley

Just wondering how this fight compares to Pac v Cotto. Alot of people are saying that a Mosley win will give Mayweather an edge in negotiotions. TBH I'm just happy this fight might actually happen. Just wanted to get people's opinions. Is this a better/bigger fight than Pac v Cotto?

Yes, but here's my take on it.... no matter how u look at it at this point in time Mosley IS the best welterweight right now.. he is numero uno because he beat Antonio Margarito who WAS the number 1 welterweight.... so this is more relevant at this point in time

I think so but it will do about the same on PPV and maybe even less because Mosley doesn't have the fan base Cotto has.

I don't think it's a better fight than Pacquiao-Cotto or even a more relevant fight. Mosley's win against Margarito is very overrated. He beat a guy who had just gotten caught cheating and was clearly rattled. He didn't look good against Mayorga, lost to Cotto, and he's a 38 year old man who hasn't fought in a year.

But Floyd does deserve props for taking on a top welterweight, but I don't think it will be very competitive. And I would be shocked if it didn't do better PPV-wise than Pacquiao-Cotto. Other than Mayweather-Pacquiao, this is the 2nd biggest fight in boxing.

yea..he is the best welterweight even at his age. But to be honest, I was not really big on a May-Mosley fight since they didn't fight years ago at 135 or even in 2006, because I'm a fan of both of these guys. I was looking forward to a May-Pac fight which is alot bigger to me and means more. But looking at things right now, this fight with May-Mosley is for the welterweight crown, and the winner will unify with the Pac-Clottey winner. This is all good for the sport.

Of course. Cotto vs Roidquaio was a fight where one fighter was roided up and the other was shot and weight drained.Floyd Vs Mosley is gonna be a fight where no one is shot and no one is on roids.

*******s,put that in your crack pipe and smoke it.And don`t come on the board till the Crack is cleared out your system. The stuff ya`ll say is ******ed enough when your not on crack.
