Doesn't mean that he was damage either. Manny current top boxers have loses in their record that are still in their prime. It's not so much how you lose, it's how you bounce back from it.

TS i agree with your thread because it can relate to when i was
Risin' up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times, it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's
        the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
        And the last known survivor
stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out in the heat
        Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry
They stack the odds, still we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive

Risin' up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop
Just a man and his will to survive

And Cotto hasn't bounced back very well has he? Unless you consider Jennings impressive and awe inspiring.

Anyone can beat a named fighter (See Khan/Barrera or Hatton/Castillo), But the stage which you beat them says alot and in this case people overate the time Pac got to them.
              Great post and Reply!!!

I dont need to prove it when you have actually typed it and posted it yourself! You only know about boxing's 'poster boys',which is fine, but just dont try and argue **** points with people who have the sport ingrained in them from grass roots right to the top. You just end up getting owned.

JMM was obivously at his prime at 144, haha

Floyd beating an OLD de la hoya with skinny arms and a fat body in a non-impressive split decision fashion was super impressive

judah was obviously in his prime coming off a LOSS to baldomir

Baldomir - wont even explain how much prime he was

This is why I dont post in here much anymore. bunch of kids posting anything that comes to their head

If suggesting I'm a casual fan with no knowledge of boxing history you would be incorrect...very incorrect.
