We already know from the facts that whenever Freddie Roach signs Pac to fight someone they have a glaring weakness that Roach is looking to exploit. According to Roach, Diaz is slow, flat footed, short reach, Oscar can't pull the trigger, Hatton is just not that good, and Cotto is mentally done after Margarito. OH yeah, and lets weight drain the one's we can just to improve our chances.

Oh and in case you haven't read the homepage, according to Roach, we will swamp Clottey with activity, he is not active enough. But guess, all the real fans of the sport already know this, it doesn't even take a rocket science or great trainer to figure out any of Roach's strategies, just simply pick fighters who he thinks Pac can beat. As simple as that.
This is a beautiful post, People try to make out that Pac beat legends in Barrera and Morales (Yes) but when he fought them they were on their way out, They were not primed and he got them at the right stage/time.

Anyone can beat a named fighter (See Khan/Barrera or Hatton/Castillo), But the stage which you beat them says alot and in this case people overate the time Pac got to them.

When I watch and follow boxing and I see a guy rising in the rankings, weight, popularity. There comes a time when they face the best. Our friend Mayweather has been accused of not facing the best ever since he climbed to welterweight. But for the first time, I can finally understand why fans hate Floyd, they hate him cause he didn't fight the guy they wanted him to fight at the time they wanted him to fight him.

This is a Eureka moment because that is exactly how I feel about Pacquiao right now. I feel like he is the King of fighting B and even C level opponents. What is Oscar, Hatton, and Cotto to me? Former A level fighters who at the time they fought Pac, B-C level fighters.

With Mayweather he had a chance to finally fight an A level opponent who is actually considered the best. He scratched that to take on yet another B level guy in Clottey. Yea!! We're so excited.......not.

So the reality is, if Pac will not fight Floyd Mayweather....then he is Floyd Mayweather, which is a guy who only takes fights he knows he will win.

That is until now..........Floyd is fighting Mosley, and as fans we got to give Floyd credit for going after Pac and Shane when he clearly could of found a B-C level guy instead.

        you should've learned.

mayweather is only doing this to seemingly compete with pac

and bring the momentum back to his corner.

but wait till a month before that so called fight...

        because it wont happen.

because floyd will find an excuse in his favor.

and people like you will continue to praise him for it.

Most people hate Floyd cause of his attitude not who he chooses to fight. The "He only fights bums"comments is only a smokescreen.

Good post, but my point was to the TS saying that Pac fought B and C level fighters. Obviously the stage that they fight their opponents is something that needs to be looked, and ideally, you want to fight each opponent when they're at their prime, but that is just not gonna happen. You gotta take the fight when the opportunity presents itself. Its not Pac's fault that these dudes fought each other, just like its not Floyd's fault that Mosley is old and beat up. If Floyd ends up fighting Mosley, Cotto, and Margarito, I can present the same argument. These dudes beat each other up so a win against them won't mean that much. My point is Pac took the fights anyway. Truth is, you could pick apart every great fighter's resume and find flaws, but when it comes down to it, its the fact that they took these fights and they won.

In regards to May-Mosley, I haven't given an assessment yet, all I said is that Mosley as of today, is still considered an A level fighter and the fighter with the best chance of beating Floyd. Like I said, the fight can be a rout in favor of Floyd, and Mosley will drop to a C level and so will Floyd's credit. However, it will still gain him all the momentum in regards to a Pac fight, assuming that will happen.

That's exactly what i'm saying, Cotto did beat Mosley in Mosley's prime. My point is your discrediting Manny for beating Cotto and discrediting Cotto as well for saying that he's nobody. And now you're putting Mosley in this high pedestal which is fine, but you're not giving credit for the fact that Cotto beat Mosley and Manny beat the man that beat Mosley.

Exactly... who cares. Mayweather created a persona to play the bad guy, IE; he wants to be hated, or at the very least, he brings the hate on himself.

Floyd fans who whine about the amount of hate he gets = ******ed.

so you're saying pac resume doesnt impress you?

True, but he brings the hate on himself. When you go out and proclaim that you are the GOAT, you open yourself up to criticism and scrutiny. You better be able to back that up. And when you stack his resume up against the greats, it simply doesn't measure up. And he knows that, so how does he back up that statement? He ****s on their legacies. That ain't right.

No his resume impress me, But its also overhype by some people and the media, Mayweather beating Mosley now isnt the same like if he beat Mosley 5 years ago.
