Hagler beats him 7 to 8 times out of 10 easy!
I agree with you during HAGLER's prime....and I am a big fan of both.

The post you are looking at is saying Hagler was in his prime and Sugar Ray almost had his retna detached and was out for three years because of it. The poster said that Leonard crazy for fighting Hagler that night. That all the stars needed to be alligned and that is what needed to be in order for Leonard to win and you take that as Hagler was not in his prime...OMG go back to sleep...Lefty

I'm saying basketball is a sport which you use ur legs all the time esp on defense to keep the other guy in front of you. And from the feedback we got back shane is better. People always say floyd will dance circles but I see it different.
I DK if you can make the same comparison to basketball and movement inside a boxing ring. Shane is able to keep up with Floyd on the court but on the court Floyd aint throwing punches at Shane niether...Leefty

I am not calling you ****** I am simply saying in comparison to myself and others you may be ignorant when it comes to the subject of recent boxing history. Is all now honestly I am not insulting you....Lefty

I hear ya...just not used to the semantic issue of "ignorance"...but I still think it is highly inaccurate though I do need current schooling of what's been happening but the boxing part remains constant.

A game of chess is one move at a time thinking 3 moves in front , Floyd has it all over Manny in the thinking department , pity there wasnt more time because Floyd would have fought Mosley on the 13th and sunk Mannys fight like the titanic .

            • Speaking of history, pac will be remembered as an ATG without the question of him not taking the test. If only the man demanded the test has more credibility, then Pac's career and his history might have an * but as we all know the mayweather's are not that credible.

C'mon let's be honest now, mayweather hasn't even retired but most boxing fans and media are looking at mayweather cherry picking himself to greatness. About the 40$ million walking away, wouldn't it be absurd that Mayweather calls himself Money May? That's why Floyd is blamed by most fans. How much more for his history? It will definitely put an * to it.

Fans will always remember how a boxer fights in the ring and Manny will be remembered by that. His life story is tailor made for historic proportion, rose up from poverty coming from a 3rd world country, humble boxer, but a smiling assassin in the ring. Time magazine alone already cemented the legacy of Pacquiao.

History will remember Pacquiao side by side with the likes of SRR, SRL, Ali, Armstrong, etc.

You are dreaming bud , this no test stand will hurt Manny a lot , if Floyd keeps winning against the best like Mosley the worse it will be for Pac , they are on a collision course and Pac must agree to the testing and fight Floyd or he will alway be remembered for ducking the undefeated Mayweather by refusing a test every other fighter to fight Floyd will take , the general public the world over is dead against PEDS and Manny is appearing to be talking them by running from the test .

                  1) His first come back fight he takes on JMM. People call him a cherry picker amongst other things. This was done for one reason to obtain better bargaining leverage at the negotiations table. He takes out JMM in pretty easy fashion thus eliminating a public demand for a PAC vs JMM III.

                  2) He demands RANDOM TESTING for the fight with PAC on 3/13. When PAC made it a bigger thing than originally intended he puts an * next to PACS name in many of the common fans eyes. Thus the only fighter who is possibly compared to him as the BEST OF THIS ERA in many people eyes may have cheated. Even if he didn't walking away from 40 million in comparision to just giving blood RAISED some eyebrows.

                  3) He keeps his demand for RANDOM TESTING and says he is going to use it in every fight going forward to "CLEAN UP BOXING" PAC announces a fight with Clottey anther TOP RANK promoted fighter for the 3/13 date. NO SUCH TESTING is required. People are leaning back towards PAC and a good fight Floyd is left in limbo with out a dance partner. (no pun intended)

                  4) 1/18/09 Berto with draws from match with Mosley for Jan 30th date. Now possible match up between Floyd and Mosley lands in Floyds lap. Whether it goes down on March 13th or May1st undecided. But he puts the demand out there for RANDOM DRUG TEST with an admitted ROID user. (whether he knew about it or not he did admit it sorry Shane) Floyd can ink this deal he goes one up on Manny and also eliminates another potential opponent for Manny post his 3/13 date and inches himself a little closer to cornering Manny and shifting momentum back to GBP and himself at the negotiations table.

Just my take on thing gentlemen agree or disagree....Lefty

Isn't this thread entitled "3" reasons why Floyd is a step ahead? So why the *** are there 4 reasons? Sorry but if you can't understand that 4 is greater than 3 then I can't take any opinion of yours seriously

They only people that care about Mannys refusal to test are Floyd fans. And just because you don't jump when someone says jump doesn't make you guilty of anything. All it means is that you have a backbone and principles.
