His power is underrated for a reason. Floyd ain't knockin anyone out, especially Shane ****ing Mosley. Truth is he couldn't finish Jr WW JMM, it took him 9 rounds to KO Ricky Hatton, and Oscar's face looked exactly the same at the end of his fight with Floyd. Floyd doesn't do damage, he scores points.

Are you nuts? Shane has a chin, and punches harder than Floyd does. Yes he knocked down JMM, who had jumped two weight classes to fight Floyd. He may beat SSM on points but he will not so much as stagger SSM on damn time. He stands more of a chance of getting knocked out by SSM than he does of knocking out SSM.

Mosley has been in the ring with some big punchers in ww and jmw divisions...floyd hasnt shown that he has the power to hurt a natural welter...so what makes you think he can all of a sudden stop shane?

It's not always about the power of the punch. Actually, more of the times its a combination of the moment, the type of impact, the place it landed, and if the opponent saw it coming.

And Floyd Mayweather Jr. has the accuracy, the quickness, the speed, and the intuitive boxing skills to time his counters to make shots that incorporate all of those aspects land.
