I still have this gut feeling that Floyd is not fighting Mosley. I will only believe it until a contract is signed by both camps for them to fight.

but I'm still hoping that my gut feeling is wrong...

        That's a bad business decision.

Floyd would lose potential PPV buyers.

Both fights would get **** numbers.
Mayweather would do 1 million easily for several reasons:

He wouldnt miss a single buyer because all the *******s would jump at the possibility of seeing Mayweather lose, over watching a boring predetermined match that Pacquiao is assured to win.

Plus Goldenboy has the backing of Las Vegas and HBO.

You're right, this is Floyd's opportunity for revenge on Arum if the fight is on March 13.
If Pac Fans truly wanted to see Mayweather-Pacquiao then why are they hating so much on Floyd and why are they damn near celebrating that Arum killed the fight. Honestly, you guys act like your happy he's fighting Clottey instead, as a May, Pac, and a boxing fan, I am pissed the F off, I want May-Pac, not Pac-Clottey, F@ck Bob Arum for that!!

No, you're assuming that would happen.

The fact is that the Pac-Clottey fight will take away from Mayweather-Mosley's overall PPV buys.

If Goldenboy wants to maximize the PPV potential, they won't put it on the same weekend.

Do you really think that will happen or you're just joking?

Yes, there are Filipinos who are Mayweather fans, but will still buy the Pac fight because Pac is Filipino and always delivers in terms of excitement.

There are also people that I know within my family that have sworn never to buy another Mayweather fight because of his performances against DLH and Marquez.

I'm assuming this is not exclusive to my family.

What punchingbag is saying is correct, unless pac-clottey does 0 ppv buys. There would be a small market that would watch that fight. So obviously to get that market on your side, you'll need to set another date. Simple!
