The question is not whether Mayweather will fight him but whether Alvarez's handlers will take the fight. The kid is only 19 and makes everyone around him a lot of money. It would take a heavy, heavy purse to give him up to Mayweather and even then I think it's a 50-50 shot.
Would there be any problems getting a commission to sign off on a 19 yr. old with limited opposition vs. a 33 year old top 2 fighter in the world?

Even in a defeat, should he give a good performance he might get the publicity he deserves outside Mexico.

There is NO way this is acceptable, I already gave Mayweather a pass for a tune up against Marquez. A fight against Alvarez would be a farce.

Sloppy journalism at it's finest. Funny how Pacquiao never seems to have any of this bull**** flung at him. As the owner of the largest boxing site on the internet, you should try a little impartiality.
Because he went after Clottey not Alvarez you jackass. If you like the way Pac handles things better than May switch your allegiance.

this is insane, mayweather is losing credibility, now I take pacman's side and would rather buy his PPV date, pbf should fight cintron or bradley on 03/13 otherwise he is cherry picking protecting his ass from losing....and not getting the fight thinks he wants (pacman_
