you really cant think of any benefit from injecting lidocaine into your hands during training?
how come to nobody will reply to this?
Originally posted by Meid imagine that injecting your hands with xylocaine during training would have its benefits. you could endure longer training sessions even though your hands are hurt. you could hit the heavy bag a little harder. there also could be residual numbness in your hands even if you stop a week before a fight depending on how much is used and frequency of use.
also, another ingredient in xylocaine is adrenaline (epinephrine), which would also aid a fighter during training because it boosts oxygen to the brain and muscles.Comment

Facts are its banned, only can be used when given a valid reason, And its not allowed to be used 1 week within the fight.Comment

if lidocaine numbs your hands, wouldnt it be easier to get in more work on the heavy bag if you cant feel your hands?
wouldnt more work be beneficial to a fighter?
painkillers numb the senses. abuse of painkillers can leave a residual effect, such as residual, local numbness.
it is a fact that xylocaine can contain epinephrine (adrenaline). adrenaline boosts oxygen to the blood and muscles, which would be great for training.Comment

it's a courage from floyd that he's still fighting with brittle hands.
if xylocaine enhances performance as some people say ( which i think it doesn't) and it's not illegal in nevada state then both fighters can use it and thus there will not be an advantage for one over the other . i'm sure the result will be the sameComment
