why do you think khan jumped ship? he knew he was being fed to the wolves so he took the mayweather route and the easy way out.

Well actually when Floyd was Amir's age he was fighting 10 times the opponents Amir has fought. The ''Mayweather way out" is fighting established champ Genaro Hernandez at 21 and then making 9 defences, all before like age 25 or something. Khan is like 22 or 23 and has fought no one.

I agree with DiBella, I don't like how Khan thinks he can just waltz in to the US market, pick his fights, and treat a guy like Paulie as an inferior opponent. Khan needs to take fights like Maidana to earn the right to get the big fights.

Bradley is too good for Khan, so is Alexander. If Maidana is unacceptable, Nate is just as dangerous. Paulie may be able to box Khan in a close fight. How did Khan become a champion bypassing so much talent?

i agree mayweather used to fight reasonable opposition before he was corrupted but khan is becoming mayweather even faster than the real mayweather. he outmayweathered the king.

Khan holds a paper title, and his best wins are a faded MAB, Salita, and Kotelnik. Not good enough to be going after all the big fights already.

that's what boxing is becoming though and its sad. they are trying to make stars instead of finding stars. look at khan and ortiz. they are gonna be the next 2 great fighters of our generation. but what happens if they arent that good? oh well we already picked them to be great can't change now.
