    To the Amir Khan fans

Ive been a Huge supporter since before the Olympics, love the guy he has always shown all the qualitys i look for in a fighter, including heart and a fearlesness. Now Mallinaggi is a good fighter and after his last two performances ud be delighted with him as an oppenent for Khan! IF he didnt have a top notch fighter as his mandatory in Maidana! It looks like Amir is gonna give up his title and avoid/duck the rock fisted Argentenian in favour of the talented but feather fisted New Yorker - NOT ON! Khan for me is seriously damaging his rep and i for one will lose a ton of respect for the guy if he does this, right now he is my fourth or fifth favourite fighter but beleive me that will quickly change! Ditching Warren is a good move, i hate that guy, Golden Boy ususally match tough wich is good so imma blame Freddie Roach who is increasingly pissing me the **** off! His fighters have tested positive for steroids before (Toney) and theres alot of speculation Manny is on the gear too, he always has to get his guys an edge like drainning the other guys on the weight, taken a 147 title in a fight fought below that limit and he seems like a real egomaniac these days always talkin ****! **** em!

That Roach stuff aside whats ur thoughts on Amir duckin Maidana, how much will u go off him KHAN FANS?

Hello Mr.Surgeon! I am not keen on him fighting Malignaggi before Maidana, but nothing really surprises me any more. I have nothing but praise for Khan for the character he has shown rebuilding his career, but I cannot understand him fighting Malignaggi at this point as it represents a backward step. I really want him to go after unification,as he has the ability to do it. I would fancy his chances against all the guys at 140. A fight with Bradley would be an absolute stonker!

good post , this is how i feel too, malignaggi is a money fight in ny and a good way of getting exposure in the states but i really wanted to see him tested against maidana , if a maidana fight is a no go for a while i would at least like khan to fight the winner of urango alexander after malignaggi

The Surgeon, first off I am really pleased Khan has dumped Warren . I was getting sick of the hype with no back up. GBP is a positive move and I was pleased to see it but the move to avoid the Maidana fight is a NO NO . Khan had a ready made fight there and one I wanted to see and one that he was well capable of winning. Khan bailing out is a huge disappointment, this was a watershed moment for me . If Khan took the fight I would have had interest in him it would have been the first real fight he would have been in. The fact he bailed out does not surprise me I was expecting it but right now I have very little respect for Khan and am dubious about what his real intentions are for his career.I think he wants to continue taking safe fights and being a media creation.

Maidana is good to watch and can **** but he's over rated, wild and crude. I think he's a poor mans Mayorga

Khan would make a fool of him IMO but it would be exciting till the end coz u know if he does get one home and clean its likely game over for Amir

Exactly. I think its a good fight. Khan wont be able to take any liberties with Maidana, but
I think he is disciplined enough to fight the right kind of fight, and if he does that he will probably stop Maidana who can be put down.

It surprised me, infact i bet the John Lock guy 100k he would fight em!

Honestly i genuinly beleive Khan would take the the fight he seems uber confident BUT he obviously happy to be Freddies puppet which is almost as bad as not wanting the fight himself, its HIS career, its HIS call.

Yeah man, against Kontelnik he proved he could fight a 12 round disaplined fight but Maidana gets hit WAY more than AK and he can be hurt and dropped like u say, my pick would be Amir in 8 or 9. Not looking likely tho
