Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao, Mayweather Pass Nevada Drug Tests

Nah, I think if Manny would have agreed to the random testing
instead of his camp coming up with all them excuses he would
have been clear. Floyd Sr was hollering about it for a minute
and nobody cared because everyone thought Floyd Sr was just
a crazy old man BUT once Manny and his camp made a big deal
and debate about it, then it got suspect for him.Comment

Except Arum went from collecting bucketfuls of money on a fight he didn't have to promote, to making thimblefuls on a fight that he DOES have to promote.
The PPV buyrate will tell the final tale. But Jerry has already said that he will partition the arena down to 40,000 seats, whereas we know that May/Pac would have sold the joint out.
indeed. A Mayweather vs Pac fight with 100,000 people in Dallas at the stadium watching would have been an incredibly big boost for boxing......Comment

Yep. If Manny just agreed like it was no big deal "right off the bat" so to speak it would have all been over with that day. Big Floyd made his comments months ago and no one really paid him any mind at all.Comment

By the pacman is already richSo basically what your saying is that Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao
went with a fight that they will get less money for because of 14 days
of random blood testing? Basically Manny Pacquiao ducked Floyd
Mayweather Jr. Who in their right mind would walk away from the
richest fight in your career to fight a fight that most likely he won't
even make half of what he would have made fighting Floyd? Over
blood? **** don't make sense.
Who in their right mind would suggest a random test that even the commission didn't require?
*****s questioned the NSAC. Are they better than the commission? ROFLComment

people formulate different opinion.with this case, itll be leaning to doubting manny was or will ever be clean.Nah, I think if Manny would have agreed to the random testing

if you keep on bringing MOSLEY, just a correction, that was still last 2002-2003 test.
if you can understand what technology mean, you wont question NSAC.

The term "PEDs" encompasses many different types of Performance Enhancing Drugs.
Some can be detected in urine, but not all. The most effective way is to do urine and blood tests, because you can't hide changes in your blood as easy as you can with urine.Last edited by Biolink; 01-17-2010, 03:46 AM.Comment
