    aka cheating.
No... It is not CHEATING. Did Floyd pay the penalty?

Floyd fulfilled each and every clause in the contract.

If you have a credit card, and you were on vacation,. You mailed the payment late, and they charged you a late fee. You pay the late fee.

Did you cheat the credit card company, or did you fulfill your obligation?

This is boxing. Size is tangible factor. Floyd paid for 2 extra pounds against a much smaller opponent. If you challenge me to a race and I have a Dodge Neon and you have a Ferarri, I will still race you for the money and cuz I've been practicing. But your refusal to use the same category of vehicle is cheating.

It is not cheating when you know the rules and conditions in advance. It might be "gaming the system"...but not cheating. Understand the difference.

Floyd could have come in THREE pounds over, and just paid 900K out of his $15+ million purse.

Because it was within the contract. And the rules.

A true warrior like JCC or Duran or SRL or Hearns or Marciano would not play those type of games....

Ethically and morally. Fine. People's ethics differ.

                It was NOT cheating legally.

Slow your roll on JCC. He fought cabdrivers. Literally.

                  Random Fan From FightHype:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who understands this. Mayweather is just a con artist. He was also seeing his fortune being snatched away by a real fighter, a fighter he couldn't beat. His image of the "greatest fighter ever" was fading away because of this little Asian kid who had taken the world by storm, and nobody cared about Floyd anymore. Everyone kept talking about Manny Pacquiao. This had to stop. Floyd knew he couldn't win so the next best thing was to make Manny look like cheater so he could save his reputation, and not get hurt or suffer a loss. (maybe the fans won't notice, they'll be too occupied with the PED allegations)

I also believe that Floyd will never have the courage to ever fight Manny. I will be shocked if Mayweather ever fights Manny, no matter how much money is involved.

Do you need me to post quotes from Hall of fame boxers? I can.

                    carlos palomino:

To Palomino, it is not realistic for Pacquiao to walk away from so much money just because he doesn't want to adhere to Floyd Mayweather's request for Olympic-style drug testing that involves not only urine, but blood samples.

"I understand why they are asking questions, and they should," Palomino said of Team Mayweather, which Tuesday declared the fight with Pacquiao - tentatively slated for March 13 - would not take place unless Pacquiao agrees to the testing. "If this guy has nothing to hide, why not do it? You are going to give up 30 to 40 million dollars because you don't want to test? I think there is a problem there."

Mosley would say in an interview with Boxinqtalk, he basically believes that the fact that Pacquiao is unwilling to do random blood tests leading up to the fight makes him look “questionable.”
