Roy would have been a mandatory to the real champ, Dariusz, given the timeline.
DM was a WBO champion when he beat Hill. RJJ was a WBC champ. DM added WBA and IBF, but he was sripped. WBA didn`t recognize WBO as one of the top belts. DM refused to take on the mandatory IBF challenger and was therefore stripped off the IBF strap... Since that time, RJJ was collecting belts, and DM was defending his lone WBO title...

You`re right on one thing - before RJJ moved to LHW, DM was a champ for a couple of years. So RJJ "could" only become DM`s mandatory if he was moving in the WBO rankings. But he wasn`t... HE was an IBF SMW champion and after he moved up he was fighting at once for the WBC interim belt...

WBO wasn`t a recognized organization back than... If DM vacated two prestigious belts easily, he could vacate his WBO belt... and become a mandatory to RJJ through any other sanctioning body (i`m pretty sure any of them could rank DM pretty high)...

why wasn't the WBO present???? You would think that the ONLY sanctioning body to have the P4P King as a champion would be there. WTF?????

It would be great to have one champion per division but that will never happen as long as these organzations are around.

yeah, bet they have all agreed to make the same amount of pointless belts for the every division, and to charge more for sanctioning fees.

also to create a new "super chump your not really the champion belt"

WBO has only been considered a real title in the post 2000 landscape.

                  **** em.

The ring is the one I follow the rest of the belts are just titles but the ring is the lineal and true champion of the division

what the WBA, WBA and IBF should do is pass a law, that no bog name fighter can vacate his belt to fight a big fight, to avoid sanctioning fees.

This is what happened when Floyd fought Mosley.
Mosley vatated the WBA belt, so that Floyd didnt have to pay sanctioning fees.

When these fighters were startin their pro careers, they begged for thos Alphabet titles, and now that they're famous, they turn their backs on them.

                      That isnt right.
