Pacquiao is great. Is that hard to deal with? There is no doubting it, he is an ATG. You don't even have to be a fan to acknowledge that.

Pacquiao IS exciting in the ring,but I would hesitate before saying he belongs with the likes of Ali,Sugar Ray Robinson, etc.
You have to be a fan of the sport to observe the facts that devalue his last 4 "great" victories.Look at all of his last opponents and tell me they really could have been competitive...You probably thought Oscar,Diaz,Hatton and Cotto were the men to "bring it",eh?
The fighters who posed a threat to Pacquiao made Manny and his team run with every excuse in the book ( from needles,to blood,to weakness,to superstition,to pride, and not getting "bullied" by requests) and robbed boxing fans of the best competitive fights out there at the moment-sounds ATG to me....
Manny is a great fighter,but I reject the notion that he is the absolute best out there today-especially when I can think of at least 4-5 other fighters who pose a threat to him today and would have been more competitive than his recent fights.His path has been strongly cleared and protected by Arum,Roach and his own team.

Saying your willing to fight, and then do otherwise, is showing fear to me.

Hes done it with every welterweight of note since hes been in the division.

Had he actually fought the guys who posed a thread,

but won't ever prove it in the ring.

How is this much different than saying "Manny will chop down Foreman to the body and beat him",then the next day he refuses a fight with him because "Yuri is too tall". Amazing how people neglect to note when Manny is a hypocrite and hides from the weakest belt holder in that division.
Now that Manny is a welter weight,he considered Marquez part 3 and his fans rejoiced-yup,the same fans who demeaned Floyd's win over Marquez.
The same people who believe Floyd ran away from a fight with Manny,yet are too blind to see that Manny was looking for other opponents while "negotiating" a fight with a man who posed a threat to him (fact-Manny was looking for an easier fight against Malignaggi, Yuri Foreman, Timothy Bradley, Clottey, or anyone NOT named Floyd, Shane,or Williams).Who gave up on the negotiations when it got to one measly request-keep in mind that Manny signed for a fight and Floyd still had hope of fighting Manny-not the other way around..... sounds like a warrior.

Im a Pac fan, and it's time to cut the bull****.

The nerve people have saying Floyd is "scared". A lot of people didnt think Floyd would face Pac, I'm willing to bet team Pac didnt either. Floyd made them an offer that was more than fair, over a week more time then they claimed they needed to be 100%, and THEY turned the offer down. Pacquiao said no, not Floyd.

Floyd fought Coralles when he was 33-0. Hatton when he was 43-0. Castillo and Judah in their absolute prime. Hes got nothing to be scared of.

Ive been watching boxing since I was a kid, never been much into Floyd. When i started posting here last year, people were seriously hating on him, and I agreed with a lot of it. Of course Manny coming up in weight and taking down bigger guys makes him look like the good guy, the hero. I love watching Manny, and I love whats hes been doing for boxing. Floyd coming in overweight for the Marquez bout was complete bull****, and I called him out on it like anyone else.

but you know what? The tables have turned, and Mannys the one who needs to be called out. It doesn't matter that I love Pac; you dont have to be in denial to be a fan. Floyd wanted blood tests. It's not the first time someone asked for more testing. Pac said it made him sick for a day or two, then Freddie said he needed three or four days. Team Mayweather was willing to accommodate them with not one but two whole weeks of no blood tests.

Manny said no, for whatever reason, and killed the fight. Floyd made a fair offer and Manny either has something to hide or just wants to turn this into a **** measuring contest.

Either way, Mannys legacy took a giant hit. If he's still a god to fillipinos, okay, but otherwise the majority of people are at least raising an eyebrow about him turning down 40million for.... no reason at all? Yeah.
