that is if after winning decisively against mosley, i don't see floyd looking for a fight against berto.

I can see how the offer would be enticing to him, but what does Berto care about more legacy or fast money?

He goes down a notch in my book if he does take the money, just my opinion.

There is no point to Berto stepping aside.

I say let Mosley take Berto's belt and then fight mayweather for Mosley's 2 belts if he wins

I dont think he should, mayweather can wait a couple of weeks for the winner!!!

If shane does win then shane wouldve got a much needed tune up fight for floyd!!!

If Berto wins floyd just picked up another credible option!!!

business wise and legacy, it will work better for him, as i said in my previous post.... it won't be that bad if he gets the money then a right to fight the winner, sounds very juicy for this young blokes career.

if he waits for the winner.... they won't make it with the target date of fightin on march 13....

that's the idea of this topic, mayweather camp is so committed to put up a fight on the same date manny is fightin.

As we have seen lately alot can go wrong in regards to future plans. Also as we have seen with Floyd he is very savy and Berto could get left out in the cold if he sells his opportunity now. He has a sure thing here with SSM as of now, if he gives that up then who knows.

He can get his name out there and make himself invaluable to Floyd if he can be impressive against Shane. If he takes the money, I will question whether he really has belief in his ability and skill.

Why not just wait for the winner of Mosley/Berto. Who cares about going up against Pac/Clottey. Floyd could fight winner of Mosley/Berto in May or June.
