Miguel Cotto vs the Greatest PR fighters?

Cotto really is not that great. He never fought elite comp at 140 and he never fought a champ for their belt at 147, and even his best win at 147, against Shane, was a tossup.

Wow,\Cotto only has 2 losses and he is not that great? In my opinion he is not an atg but he has to be pretty good to have the record he has.

really.... another cotto blind hater. He was awesome at 140 and since he has been up at 147 he has just fought everyone and anyone.

I'm not a hater just a realist. He never fought a champ at 140, he got his vacant title, and fought 3 good fighters, Corley, Bailey, and Torres, that is it. He goes to 147 and fights no body important. He fights Judah gets his ass beat in the 1st 4 rounds and starts to blatantly low blow, to the point I feel the fight should have been DQ'ed it was ugly. He fights Shane gets a toss up in MSG, same place he robbed a win from Clottey. He gets massacred by Margarito, the same Margarito who got beat by Paul Williams. He ducks Paul Williams and he ducks Cintron as well.

Bottomline he is a very good fighter, he is no wear near elite.

No Clottey didn't rob himself from Cotto doing absolutely nothing excepting hitting a guard. I'm tired of arguing with Cotto nut hangers, the man has close fights that always land in his favor in MSG. Clottey was a robbery and Mosley could have gone either way.

As for fighting Margorito, he ducked P-Will blantantly because the winner of the Marg - Williams fight was supposed to automatically fight Cotto for a unification. When P-Will won Cotto said **** it and waited for Margo to fight Cintron again to so he could fight him, because he thought he was the easier fight. Fact.

Clottey lost because of his lack of work activity during the championship rounds, Clottey did nothing. If you are in a close fight and you do not fight on the championship rounds, you can not expect to win. On the other hand, Mosley could have gone either way and it went Cotto's way. What is the problem there? Someone had to win and Cotto won.
