Martinez by points.....hopkins couldnt even KO Pavlik so i dont see how Martinez can do it, but Martinez has the speed and stamina to outwork Pavlik and he has the Boxing skills and ability to outbox Pavlik.....Martinez by atleast 6 rounds

im not hating or flaming but im just wondering the reasons you have serigo martinez so how on your p4p list. apart from being his fan. why you think he deserves to be number 5?

I actually agree with his list, although I have bradley on mine.

a good list imo would be based on skilsets instead of records.. because many
good fighters are being overlooked these days based on losses they have
        that should have been wins

I can't help but think of Clottey as an example

          pavlik takes him out
i think people are slightly over-rating martinez after his close decision loss to williams

I can't see what Martinez is not good at, personally.

He's very good. No glaring weaknesses.

Perhaps physical strength is the one area where he concedes a little. But Paul William's is a freak of nature, and Pavlik is a very, very, big middleweight.

no doubt hes a very skilled all round fighter but i feel at 160 pavlik would start to bully him after 3 or 4 rounds

I'm sad I simply can't remember him beating Richard Williams or Adrian Stone. I can't believe I didn't watch them.

Martinez is one of the fighters I'd love to come over here and just smash up a game journeyman to showcase his skills.

Pavlik is so big that it could be a bridge to far. The only reason Williams was able to make the fight so close was his sheer size and iron will. Pavlik has those same characteristics in his locker. I'm just banking on Sergio Martinez being too good for Pavlik. Hopkins tattoed Pavlik at times, and Martinez has much quicker hands and strong stamina to keep it going.

Sergio got this on points and will win convincingly. His movement and skill will be to much for Pavlik.

Going out on a limb here. Martinez on points, both are good fighters, but Sergio has some real momentum at the moment.

sergio by ud. pavliks team are setting him up for a repeat of the bhop fight. kelly struggles with movement, and sergio has alot of movement, plus is a southpaw. unless kelly can manage to catch, and hurt sergio i see a ud loss for the ghost. but mad props to both guys for taking on a tough fight.
