If a fighter doesnt KO him with one big shot he will take a beating.

Doesnt make any sense for him to comeback. He may be involved in some exciting fights, but i dont think its worth the risk.
Thats what worries me,as that is the likely, and almost inevitable outcome. Dont get me wrong,I am a fan of Ricky and have always been, but apart from a few million more quid that he doesnt need, but this will end in tears.

Give the "Hitman" a break, he only lost to the former and current P4P fighter. Ricky has a lot of gas left in him. A fight and a win against JMM at 144lbs will prove his worth in boxing. Why at a catch weight? Because at his current state IMO he will not be able to come down to 140lbs safely this time unless he intend to do a PBF come in overweight from the agreed 140lbs as a psych war which i highly doubt. Hatton is an honorable fighter.

His worth in boxing isnt in question and his overall legacy is something he should be very proud of,his dedication to the sport coupled with his lifestyle in between fights is. Ricky has a real opportunity to promote the sport and could have an immense contribution to make outside of the ring and is a massive supporter of grass roots boxing, but if he goes on to long and gets hurt too much then that contribution could be seriously diminished.

It's ****** how people are saying "He lost to the two best fighters out there he still has a lot left" true, but those were devastating knockout losses. He got stopped by Floyd, and he took a lot of shots in that fight, he looked ok against Paulie, but then nearly decapitated by Manny. That was no ordinary KO loss, Hatton was out cold and the way he went down was sickening.

When you are 31 years old, have an up and down lifestyle which plays havoc with your body, have been knocked out twice (very badly the 2nd time), have taken shots your whole career, and you don't have the defence to fall back on, you are going to get hurt making a comeback like this.

Case in point, Jeff Fenechs comebacks after Nelson starched him. Similar fighter to Ricky, and once the chin goes it all goes to ****.

From what I've understand, Honeygan thinks that now that he has been ko'ed twice and that Ricky might be shot, he believes he won't be able to take good punches anymore. That reminds me of Jones Jr... The punch landed by Green... wasn't much of a punch. Anyway, I think Hatton could come back if he forgot about the p4p dream, and get fights that are winnable for him.
