thought he looked as good as he ever did against the guido paulie.

more a matter of stepping up in class and getting found out at the highest level.

Wouldn't say that, his first defeat came as a result of stepping up in weight, his second came as a result of taking on the g.o.a.t.

it was more than just the weight against mayweather. hatton kept getting pot shotted on the way in. and when he got to the inside, sure floyd was using elbows and ducking but hatton couldnt let his hands go. the ref was also a **** but i cant see it of making much difference.

but even when Hatton did land, it had no impact, Floyd was too strong at 147 and took the punches easily. Hatton's power didn't carry up

More like he fought better fighters. Plain and simple.

Pac the G.O.A.T? Things like that should be saved until he's retired, what if Clottey wins, what if he gets tested positive for drugs? He's a marvellous fighter but let's not gag on his nuts too much. Ricky is shot, his punch resistance has gone.

just like amir khan who got KO'd silly, his next fight was carefully selected. Hatton can follow the same route. But if Hatton decides to fight again, and with a really good fighter, this is taking it too high, too risky.

I don't think Hatton is shot but definitely past his prime. He probably has at least a couple of fights left in him. It's unfortunate that he feels the need to throw Floyd Sr under the bus for the Pacquiao disaster.
