How do you think he is still going strong at this age? He's an intelligent fighter who actually defends. Tito couldn't land more then 10 punches a round vs nard. Maybe this is just my opinion but he is not at all boring to watch.

      hmm

      1) Hopkins does not have the power to counter-punch Taylor and KO him.

      2) Hopkins no longer has the tenacity to maul a guy like Taylor and stop him that way.

      3) This fight will most likely end in a decision (for whichever fighter).

      4) If anyone gets stopped, it will be Hopkins.

      5) For those of you saying Bernard or his fans cannot use the legitimate reason that he was old when he lost, if he loses...you are wrong. If one cannot use that excuse at the age of 40, then they NEVER can.

Hopkins dominates the greener Taylor by late TKO.

doo, that was 4 years ago. If you mean to say that the 4 yrs span has no negative effect on B-Hop then you must be on drugs.

              Taylor stops Hopkins, late!

If that is Hopkin's excuse if he loses, then he shouldn't even climb in the ring. Nobody cares if age loses him the fight, even if that is the true reason. People in general look at excuses as pathetic.

Do you see how pathetic that would sound? Here's a clue: Hopkins after beating Taylor: "I am so great"
Hopkins after he loses to Taylor: "Man, it's because I'm old".
LMAO!! It's pathetic because if he wins, people say he's great and if he loses, people say he's too old, therefore discrediting everything the other fighter did by beating him. That's bush-league bull****.

Taylor's chin is very untested & the times he's been hit, it froze him up for a few seconds. You don't have to have devastating power to KO anyone. If you can counter-punch right & be accurate with your punches, you can stop alot of fighters. Juan Manuel Marquez is a fighter that doesn't have devastating power, but can counter-punch & hurt you when you're not expecting it. Tarver is another who doesn't have that kind of power, but can counter & hurt you when you don't see it or if you're not ready to take it.

I see this website has some idiots in em and this guy happens to be one.

You ****ing fool. OK, i'll break it down. You said that Taylor is going to beat the **** out of Hopkins, but everyone will say that Hopkins was just "old". Which would be taking away the credibility of Taylor's win over Hopkins. THAT WOULD BE SIMILAR IN SITUATION to the Pac/Morales fight, where people downplayed Erik's win by saying things like manny would win if he got to use the other gloves. Is that clear-cut enough for you? ****! I'm an idiot? wow.

That's all fine and dandy, but plenty of fighters in the past have had the legit reason of being old or under special circumstances when they lost. People do care if age loses him the fight, and that will be evident if in fact he does lose.

If Hopkins' loses and it is legit that he looks old, people will say (and with good reason) that Hopkins would have clearly beaten Taylor in his prime.
