Granted Taylor hasn't been in with anyone of class at 160, but Hopkins is 40, and this kid is huge, hungry, and powerful.

Great match up, and props to both guys for taking this fight at this point in each of their respective careers.

    May the best fighter win.
Please, I know conventional wisdom is calling for Bernard to fall off and yield in favor of, if not Taylor, one of the young guns but ....

... I hope The Executioner can pull off a few more miracles and get out with his titles.

I'm sure he'd care less as long as he acquits himself well and gets paid like he should.

doo, I know that he's a legend. But I also know Taylor will stop him. People are gettin madly in love wit Hopkins ability to not age quickly. Well, after Taylor kicks his ass, we'll see people here sayin afterwards...... "Bernard is old anyways".... watch!

        Oh come on people.

You saw Mcbride standing next to Tyson. LOL. What the f**K does that matter. Nard is going to play games with this kid.

Taylor has all the tools but experience will win this one. I want to see the throne be passed down but hopkins is too good too smart. The magnitude of the fight will get to Jermain's head and panick will settle in when Hopkins throws back everything he dishes out. Hopkins UD.

This may be true. I think Taylor is going to get excited and Hopkins is going to punish him, but it's tough to call. I'll say it's a pretty even looking fight. Won't know until the first round starts.

Taylor will show everyone how to properly defeat Hopkins. When Taylor feels that Hopkins' punches don't hurt him, he'll constantly go forward to give a beating to Hopkins. Taylor has all them punches locked and he'll throw just about everything.

Hopkins is continually winning because he's been fighting decent fighters. de la hoya don't count foos! Everyone said Roy Jones is old when he lost to Tarver and the fact that Tarver himself is a quality fighter contributed to Jones loss. This is what'll happen to B-Hop. He'll face a quality fighter in Jermain Taylor that will make his fans say that "He is old" , "he got old" "time to hang them up" etc!

Yeah, just like Pac man lost to Morales because of his gwoves. (I know I spelled "gloves" wrong, you know like a kid would say it. "gwoves".)When reality is that Morales proved he is a better fighter than Pac. We will see if Taylor can do this to Hopkins, I for one cannot wait.
