There is a very good point made in that article. Neither of these 2 so called "email scoop" journalists asked the Pacquiao team for a response.

It is taught in Journalism 101 to get BOTH sides before reporting. Not to do so is incompetent at the very least, and in a case like this, so potentially damaging, that the negligence may even be malicious.

The lack of logic people are showing in this whole episode is amazing. There is no legitimate reason to suspect Manny of wrongdoing, but because Mayweather alleges, Pac has to prove his innocence? That is not the way things work.

I expect this nonsense from random internet posters, but I would like to hold Atlas to a higher standard.

Correction. When Manny's promoter makes claims of Manny being afraid of needles, and later has to correct his own ridiculous statement after being shown evidence to the contrary, that raises the su****ion of anyone who is concerned about the issue.

If it's not true, why make the statement? And not only make the statement, but make it publicly for the world to know.

Manny needs to be quiet and just focus on boxing.

He came across as a liar in the negotiations with Mayweather.

It would be a stretch to call Teddy Atlas a journalist. He might work for ESPN but he's still Teddy Atlas. He doesn't think twice about what he says, he just says it.

If anyone should be sued, and I somehow doubt this whole thing will go anywhere, it should be the ones that made up this rumour.

The more Manny pulls this **** the more I think he might be hiding something.

Refusing to take the tests and now all these bull**** defense tactics just scream "user."

Don't forget all the ball players that used these same strategies and were exposed later.

I recall reading somewhere that Floyd Jr was the source.
