I respect his skills and what he has acomplished in the ring. His defensive skills are beautifull to watch. Aside from that he seems like an ignorant loudmouth ******.

James I think is a true ATG, despite his laziness at times, I think he slips in to the top 50-60 of all time.

His skills are second to none, and he talks a great game.

I wouldn't say I'm a fan of him as a person, not that I've ever met him but I've heard quite a bit. It's the same as with fighters such as Jake LaMotta, Carlos Monzon, even Ray Robinson, I don't have to admire their character in order to enjoy watching them box. I enjoy watching James Toney box.

Some of the things I've heard and read about Ray Robinson were just downright disgusting. Far beyond James Toney.

Monzon was apparently a sociopath (as was LaMotta). I don't really like Monzon's style though, like I do Ray's. Monzon's was too ugly for my preference.
