Who's better: Cintron or Clottey? And who would win in a fight?

Clottey is better, he comes up short in big fights, but overall he makes a much more difficult opponent that Cintron. Cintron has a puncher's chance, but much of his right hand would probably be picked off.

as for their respected styles, i would have Cintron winning on points. he's a much busier fighter, works off his jab and with his long arms and strength he can keep Clottey ata comfortable distance for enough rounds to win. Clottey is not the quickest or has a high output. Cintron may be a little too long and awkward for Clottey to counter. Clottey's best bet is to hope for Cintron to trade at some point. anything to take Cintron out of his game, and Clottey can rally in the late rounds to take it home.

dont understand how so many think Cintron is a bad fighter...he's lost to really good punchers, but as you saw with Angulo, he can work a gamplan pretty well.

OK, I'll give everyone the Martinez fight - even though it was a draw - as I had him winning as well...but do any of you think that Clottey or PAC could stand in there with a legit 154lb jr middleweight in martinez?

Now, the other two losses...did everyone have amnesia all of a sudden??? Margarito cheated... Oh yeah' no proof??? He only dropped Cintron with a body shot and when he was exposed during the Mosley fight he all of sudden couldn't punch worth a damn!!!

So we have a legit jr middleweight who's gone a full twelve with Martinez and beat Angulo - who by the way was undefeated and hard as nails - has unquestionable knockout power...

But Clottey's biggest win is against Judah and gets celebrated for his losses - one of which was against a guy named Cotto that PAC f@(kin Killed...

good post. most dont like him since he cried in the martinez fight. as far as i remember Clottey was crying in the last rounds against Cotto, trying to get a little help from the ref too. Clottey has a good chin, but im afriad when he's behind by a few rounds he has a hard time getting back into the fight whereas Cintron gets better if he's already up big. a headbutt by Cintron early would work wonders in this fight.
