Manny hasn't tested positive because according to his last 3 fights he wasn't tested for PEDs the test he took were for HIV. The test results are online. Manny hasn't tested positive because he hasn't been tested. The only way to truly be tested for PEDs is random testing. Do a little research dude it's not hard to find.
Maybe so. Anyways, is it too difficult to watch what Manny takes? Why not have someone watch his diet? In a fight of this magnitude, I doubt it would be too difficult.
Manny took Cotto's punches quite well. Floyd doesn't throw too much. He's quick, but Ricky got to him. Manny completely destroyed Ricky. Manny cracks quite well, apparently. So relax with them insults you angry idiot
to be fair, dont think manny has beaten anybody of significance at welter to warrant roid suspiscions, if he were whupping williams or marg or mosley then maybe.
are you that ignorant. pac agreed to 3 BLOOD TESTS AND UNLIMITED URINE TESTS. the only reason the fight didn't happen is because floyd tried to keep pushing manny around with these ****** demands after falsely accusing the guy of taking steroids and trying to ruin his reputation. HE AGREED TO BLOOD TESTS. why bend over for a guy who is trying to ruin your reputation and demanding **** that NO FIGHT HAS EVER HAD. FLOYD DIDN'T WANT THE FIGHT IF HE DID HE WOULD HAVE ACCEPTED THE 24 DAYS AND BLOOD TEST IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE FIGHT. YOUR BOY IS THE ONE WHO TAKES INJECTIONS IN HIS HANDS THAT ARE ILLEGAL IN ALMOST EVERY STATE AND THAT IS WHY THE FIGHT COULDN'T HAPPEN AT COWBOY STADIUM. HAHAHAHAH
you're a fool.
manny agreed to 24 days (from 30 days) only after hbo sports boss greenburg disclosed the fact that the series 24/7 aired video of manny taking a blood test 24 days before r the hatton fight. BEFORE THAT DISCLOSURE, manny was holding on hard to a 30-day limit.
floyd called for a 14-day limit, which would have been the half-way point between manny's 30-day limit, and floyd's wish to put the testing limit at 1 day before the fight.
all during this fiasco, you neglect to mention a few points:
1 - manny - faced with the onging hits to his credibility - could have easily just taken the tests if he had nothing to hide.
2 - instead, he chose to first claim that he's afraid of needles. when several boxing writers questioned that logic, manny then stated he feared taking a blood test immediately before the fight would "weaken" him.
3 - finally, manny chose to file a lawusuit - citing the mayweathers and golden boy had damaged his repuation. again...and i'll repeat again - all he had to do was take the test to fight any assaut on his reputation.
i've restated the stuff above several times on this forum...including that fact the boxing writers at the "majors" - espn, nydailynews, &yahoosports...all agreed that:
1 - floyd was calling for tests that would have ensured both fighters were clean...AND as a result - floyd had the MORAL HIGH GROUND on this issue.
2 - those boxing writers also came to the conclustion that manny essentially blew it at the last stage of the negotiations by again refusing to not only take the test, but then failing to agree to "fair" compromise of 14-days (the half way mark between both of their initial requests).
i will add a third point..and say that I BELIEVE floyd shares the blame in this..because at the end of the negotiations - when it was apparent manny's ignorance regarding the "weakened theory" would not let him budge off of 24 days - that floyd should have said F it and take the high road an agree to 24 days. (there is NO medical evidence to prove manny's claim...it's a vial for crying out loud)
this is all common sense. but you and the rest of manny's fanboys - ON THIS FORUM - have stubbornly refused to take your focus off of floyd...and the fact that he called for these tests. you and your fanboy brethern also don't seem to realize that it really doesn't matter WHO called for the tests. at the end of the day this simply became a matter of integrity. manny's honesty was called into question and he refused to take the most direct road to a perfect defense: TAKING THE TESTS.
there are serveral editorials out there from the major boxing writers relaying the above positions. take a read. the most recent one comes from tim smith of the ny daily news (one of the more well known boxing writers working in america for those fanboys who don't live here).
fanboys...have fun on your knees in front a poster of manny posed as Jesus. you guys are just pitiful.
and let me be clear. i am not a "floyd fanatic". i like manny. i like floyd. hell, i even like cotto and clottey. i am a fanatic about the sport of boxing...and i'm just calling'em like i see'em.
a final question - which every one of you fanboys has managed to dodge:
and i know answering it will be difficult because it will require you to look at this situation OBJECTIVELY. But give it a try.
****"Can you offer a singular logical explanation why you - as a boxing fan, wouldn't want to know for sure that BOTH of the boxers involved in the biggest fight in the history of the sport - ARE CLEAN?"***
read over this post again, then re-read the questio above...and i'll wait for your answer fool.
im only known as a fool to manroid cacksuckers, facts forc facts i blow ur **** outta the water,ur posts are ******.u dont know ur crap fanboy.
I'm no crap fanboy. I'm not really a huge fan of Manny or Floyd. I'm more of a fan of the older guys like Holyfield and Hopkins, since I've been watching them far longer. In any case, I doubt I made many blind-fanboy posts, if any.
They were saying he'd whoop him regardless. Silly to pass on 20 million over nothing, it seems. Don't you agree? Would you too pass on 20 million if you knew you'd whoop a guy? It is silly not to.
I wouldn't want an energizer bunny I would want the real fighter. The difference is a decision vs a KO cause I believe PBF would stop Manny with all that lunging in he likes to do. Perfect for a check hook or a quick uppercut. Manny gets sloppy and Floyd would wax his ass when he does so why give him the energizer bunny advantage when I can demand he come clean. Aint nobody falling for that bravado BS but Cotto and Shane. PBF is a very intelligent fighter and businessman and he knows Manny off the juice would be a cakewalk.
yea that was definitely su****ious that the floyd camp didn't want to have the biggest fight ever in a new 1.2 b stadium that holds 90k. that and texas has a huge boxing following. floyd can't fight in texas because of xylocaine which he takes before fights and is ILLEGAL.
Dude you are misinformed... I don't blame you... this is one is for you with love... read it and start to cry:
Is “Xyloclaine” the most ridiculous malicious rumour ever concocted on a forum?
You know, it’s not even very well done.
As background, the examiner isn’t a legit site. It’s a hosting site for fan blogs. The article is very amateurish (lots of Mayweather is a ducker, a coward, mixed in with wild accusations) and it’s easy about as dumb as it gets. Well, if you have ever been to a boxing gym.
Firstly, scratching the surface, it’s actually legal in most states. I think it’s only illegal in about 7. No state that hosts any sort of contact sport regularly has it banned. As pain killing injections are important in the treatment of injuries. What’s more, the states the writer says it is banned in – it’s not actually “banned” as in on a PED list. It’s banned, as in you’re literally not allowed to buy it, as the state hasn’t deemed it safe for use.
You know “banned in 49 states”, I’m not sure if that bit has been added on for affect by other plotters, but it’s plainly false.
Secondly, you can tell an amateurish smear effort, by the fact that they don’t even realise that Mayweather has fought all over the place since 2002 when he made the video (ironically for a HBO documentary on hand injuries, and how they are treated in sport).
He’s fought in 7 different states since thevideo. Oregon, California, Miami, Michigan, New York, New Jersey being some of them. He’s actually fought in more different states than Pacquiao!? He’s only actually fought in Nevada 10 times in his entire career in fact.
Thirdly, if you actually box, or play football at a decent level, you’ll laugh at this. It’s a real weak claim. The guys knowledge of boxing must just extend to having a picture of Manny on their wall. It’s a claim that has and has no respect for the sport.
Xyloclaine, Cortisone, and other pain killing injections are used legally in most boxing gyms. I have been lucky enough to play both college football, and box professionally for a couple of years. I’ve taken pain killing injections in both, fully legally, in most states.
Treatment of injury or ailment is not performance enhancing. If athletes couldn’t numb injured limbs then sport would fall apart. It’s nothing to do with fighting. It’s just to allow you to train through injuries, and to allow people with birth defects like that to compete at an even level. I guarantee Pacquiao doesn’t feel any pain whatsoever in any punch he throws. So, if you get a lot of hand injuries, of course you take pain killing injections.
You know, seriously, you could hit a tree 300 times with a boxing glove. You wouldn’t feel it. Especially with in ring adrenaline. The theory that Manny Pacquiaos punching power is based on the fact that he holds back as punching hurts him, is both ridiculous, hilarious and humiliating.
Gloves are designed to protect the hands as much as they are the face. They numb pain themselves. They are the original “number”. All the drugs suggested do is allow people born with hand problems to compete at the same level.
Finally, this is rather a malicious campaign. Not a news story. The guy who wrote it also posted 152 questions on the subject, with a link, to “Yahoo questions”. 152………I
They also posted several videos on the subject to Youtube, with links to his article. And his cronies have been flooding message boards with links to it. On the principle that those are the only sites that will take such ******ity I assume
The only real truths to the article are the fact that Mayweather used a legal pain killer in 2002 (when he discussed it in an documentary)interview about hand injuries on HBO.
I’m supposing the follow up article will be “Tennis Player uses legal cough medicine shocker. Not going into a bout bunged up is a Performance Enhancer”.
The only true aspects of the story are that Mayweather used a legal pain killer in 2002.
The made up bits are that it’s “banned in 49 states” – it’s banned in about 5, and only for medical reasons. Not “banned” as in on a PE drugs list. Banned, as in, you can buy it in a chemist in Oregon, but not errrr, Kansas. Some states deem it dangerous, as treating joint injuries with pain killing injections – you are really risking disability in the area.
Floyd has also fought in 7 different states states the video was made since 2002. More than Pacquiao. What’s more, it isn’t even illegal in Texas. Think that was another odd claim.
Seriously. I like watching Manny, but I find his fans hard work. They tend to flood decent boards with malicious intent. Most of which is usually at least 50% made up.
You know, pulling out of the biggest fight ever, over drug testing, is what it is. Of course people will be su****ious. If a MLB slugger said he wouldn’t take Olympic random testing, people would think that he is on something.
You know, I’d suggest that “Mayweather uses legal pain killer, that’s legal almost anywhere, and used widely in most MMA and boxing gyms, as wells as pro football”. You know, if I ever write that book about dumb amateur boxing “pundits”, this will be on the first page.
So much for the facts who starts stories without having proof *loooooooooooool*
your boy got dropped by zab judah. i wonder what a pac punch would do to him. and floyd's movement has been **** in his last fights. a smaller hatton did get to him and win some rounds early on in the fight. HATTON. PAC would maul mayweather and buddy is right floyd doesn't throw enough punches and doesn't have the power to do any damage to any of the top guys at welter. go eat a ****meat sandwich i know your dying to.
I doubt it. I'd gladly bet with you, if the fight gets made, that Manny doesn't get KO'd. And if Manny doesn't get KO'd, he should keep things interesting, I'd think.
to be fair, dont think manny has beaten anybody of significance at welter to warrant roid suspiscions, if he were whupping williams or marg or mosley then maybe.
Agree there, even though he took Cotto's stuff quite well.
