    135 lbs.

    So 33 lbs. to Pac's 41 pounds.

It is still 10x harder to move up in weight like that in the midget weight classes than it is in the middle weight classes.

how is it 10x harder if you start out as a teenager and have a lot of growing to do in the first place?

The "midget weight classes" are like 4-5 pounds apart, if anything its EASIER going up in weight vs the heavier weight classes. You could eat a double cheeseburger before weigh in and be in the next weight class.

Sugar Ray Leonard fought Donny Lalonde in 1988 for the Light Heavy weight title...who by the way weighed the lowest of his entire boxing career at 167lbs!!

        can you say, weight drained.

Marvin "Marvelous" Hagler arguably the best middle weight in history, couldn't catch the speedy, craftier, Ray Leonard. But did he ever give Hagler a much sought after rematch????

Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marvin Hagler
was like Oscar De La Hoya vs Felix Trinidad
Only Tito won, and De La hoya knew Tito hit too hard!

Those were one hit wonders. Ray Leonard is one of the greatest Welter Weights in history. Greater than Floyd Mayweather.

I think Floyd is greater though. Really i do but i know it's not a popular opinion. Search a thread about it i made. The point is there.

I don't think much came out of it.

Here are some articles about it.

Do you think something strange was going on, how does a former welterweight beat Marvin Hagler and then knock out Lalonde.

                HAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA

                The contracted weight is 167

well below the Super Middleweight limit. David Diaz is a better win than Lalonde.

If you're insuniating roids then NO. It's dehydrating your opponent.

Maybe you mean "better", as in ability, speed. But come on....Ray Leonard fought "ALL" the top Welter Weights! Roberto Duran, Thomas Hearns, Wilfredo Benitez, Terry Norris....In those days, 15 rounds!!

Mayweather fights em one a time, doesn't try and Unify. Mayweather has better skills, how can anyone place him above Sugar Ray Leonard is beyond comprehension.

Maybe cause Ray Leonard KO'd Mayweather Senior????

I always thought Leonard was a big guy especially for a welterweight. after he ko'd Tommy he only had 1 more fight at welterweight and a fighter named Willie EDwards KO'd Lalond.
