That's like saying someone was off for saying Marquez-Mayweather sold 1Mill when in fact they sold 1.1mill. Big deal, that's just obviously trying to be too technical with it.
Cotto-Mosley did 350k. Solid, but not great.

Margarito-Mosley could have been PPV material, but I don't know why it wasn't, maybe because of Mosley but I could be wrong.
I'm just throwing a name out there for hatton to try and prove a point. If hatton was a big draw, he could get respectable PPV numbers against a guy that the common man hasn't heard of before, or doesn't know much about. Like Floyd vs ____ no matter what will do decent. Hatton doesn't have that kind of pull

        Let's all ***** about it.
Floyd fans are a funny bunch.

So I guess Pacquiao and Mayweather are not great fighters because their fights cost too much? Am I right Tua?

          Cotto

          And who else exactly??

It takes two to tango for the most part. Put Mosley against a Mayweather or a Pacquiao etc and it will be a great PPV success. Thats true for pretty much anyone in the game right now.

All the other PPV's are really small time, like the latin fury cards, the kelly pavlik vs fabio's, the roy jones' squared circle, the 138 people that buy the Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. fights, etc.
Cotto is not a PPV draw at all. Other than the Pacquiao fight he only had a respectable draw against mosley and margarito.

That is like saying Hopkins is a big PPV draw for bringing in over 350K with Winky Wright.

Why doesn't HBO hype Mosley up as a PPV fighter? He has the style to be exciting, he takes on all challenges, and his name isn't the most famous out there but he is well known.

Why are wack fights like Mayweather-Baldomir, Mayweather-Marquez, and Mayweather-Gatti(I'm a Mayweather fan but these did NOT belong in PPV) on PPV but fights like Berto-Mosley, Margarito-Mosley that consists of two big names, not on PPV? Is it the fear of those fights selling 200k again?

            Discuss.

Cotto-Mosley sold 350K, so get your facts straight.

Well De La Hoya vs Forbes wasn't on PPV and the common man has never heard about Forbes. This was btw the biggest draw in boxing atm.

Don't waste your time, tua makes everything about Pac/Floyd. I'm sure the Mosley/Cotto fight did decent, but how did the Mosley/Vargas ppv do, cause i'd have considered him the major draw in that fight.

Cotto got 500K against Margarito (Cotto was the A side of the promotion) and 1.2 with Pacquiao. 350K with Mosley also. Also his fight with Pacquiao drew more in Puerto Rico's than any other fight. Considering Tito Trinidad is also Rican that is a big aqccomplishment. Cotto is the 3rd biggest draw in boxing today and numbers don't lie!!!

BTW Cotto is a bigger draw than Hopkins!

I don't know why I mentioned Cotto, I thought his ****suckers were in hiding mode.

Look at Animalistic's post and who he posted about.

That was Oscar's choice though not to have it on PPV. He could have fought Forbes on PPV and it would have got decent numbers, guaranteed.
