I don't remember what he weighed against Santos, but I do remember him being outweighed by over 10 lbs in the ring, so I gotta call BS on the 170 figure. More like 163 and Cotto should come in pretty close to that. He'll have the height and reach disadvantage sure, and Yuri has excellent footwork and movement, but at least Miguel won't have to worry about getting stopped.

Cotto off a devastating KO....needs a confidence builder type fight.

But Hes fighting a 5-11, 170 Pound slick guy with movement.

      I got Foreman by DEC.
I am a huge Cotto fan and I agree with you. Yuri Foreman will be getting a lot of pointers from Arum's people (Freddie Roach) on how to beat Cotto. He will most probably decision Cotto unfortunately.

        I agree.

People are going way overboard with that stuff. He took a lot of damage in the Margarito/Pacquiao fights, but even in the Pacquiao fight, he looked sharp.

Cotto is still a legitimate threat, IMO. He will beat Foreman decisively.

          Go.
Rd's 1-3 Foreman starts out with the movement and boxes from the outside he allows Cotto to come forward which is where Cotto is in his comfort zone.
Rd's 4 -6 Cotto put in his body work uses his jab and slows Foreman down enough to get inside and stay there.
          Rd's 7-9 Cotto finishes him off....Lefty

You realize taking punishment for 11 rounds is far worse than being put to sleep in 2 rounds, right?

A fighter takes more punishment with consistent punching than a early lights out ending.

                      Not IMO...

Cotto looked sharp down the stretch and just being able to go out on your feet is much healthier psychologically than what Hatton went through.

Hatton couldn't even think about boxing for a few months or he'd break down.

Cotto took a lot of physical punishment, but after the fight it was clear that he knew he was the lesser man that night, which to me represents a healthy frame of mind

Like Cotto said after the fight, "It's a fight, I'm supposed to look beat up."

He'll rebound a lot faster than Hatton will.
