Sr. brainwashed Ricky, Ricky went into the fight thinking he was an Italion Stallion. He did pretty well, he was winning the second round by a country mile.

Another boxer making excuses for his performance.

He lost the fight because Manny is a better fighter than him. Mayweather Sr. gave him a good fight plan, but Ricky is too old to be learning new things. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Why didn't he follow the game plan his trainer gave him? Of course you're going to lose when you don't move your feet, you don't move your head, and you don't have any defense.

Lil' Floyd exposed Hatton as an overrated boxer with no defense. Floyd gave everyone the blueprint on how to beat a boxer like Hatton.

Everyone saw the shambles of a training camp on 24/7. Pac still would've won however, Hatton never said otherwise.

He's probably managed to piss off the *****s and pacfans with this one tho

Exactly he was getting tuned by Cornileous Lock in sparring.

It's Hatton's fault. His handlers made it clear they considered Floyd a consultant before the fight, not the head trainer. They messed everything up downgrading his standing in camp. They also sabotaged everything Floyd Sr. was trying to do by doing second training sessions behind his back. How are you going to have two chefs in there for a big fight like that?

Mayweather, even though he's a favorite to bash on here, only tried to teach Ricky common sense. He didn't try to drastically change Hatton. He made his intentions with him known to everybody the moment he was chosen to train Ricky. Don't just bull rush in there with no defense (ahem check hook remember), use a jab and head movement to get inside.

I agree, but the problem there is by Hatton leaving that gap open that he usually presses leaves him just as vulnerable as when he is bullrushing in, so in essence Hatton could not win either way.

Sooner or later he gets tagged and KTFO no matter which strategy his trainers devises.
