    Reason for Floyd's silence?

As a former Floyd fan, I am curious to know why Floyd has been quiet lately. I personally have to theories:

    1. Fantasy scenario. I'm sure Floyd fans will jump all over this one: Floyd is waiting for Mosely/Berto. He is planning on busting up Shane's victory party in the ring by calling him out ala Kanye West/Shane Mosley. (This would be ****ing awesome, I would jump back on the Floyd band wagon if he did this, but personally I don't think Floyd has the stones)

    2. This is the most realistic scenario: Team Mayweather is scrambling to find Floyd an opponent before the Mosley/Berto fight. This will give him a reason not to fight Berto/Mosley. Unfortunately, I'm more inclined to believe this one.

I honestly believe Mayweather wants to get in the ring before facing off against Shane. Now on the real, I hate to think of the Shane match up because he might not even get past Berto.

I wish Floyd would just wait for the Mosley-Berto winner instead of potentially taking a fight against Malignaggi or Nate Campbell or these other horrible names being thrown around.

I think a Berto match up would be better for Floyd right now, but I can't see Berto getting past him. Besides, I doubt a Berto/Mayweather fight would ever happen due to the conflict. Do you think he'd call out Shane if he loss?

He's not searching for a good fight, I'm thinking he's looking for the biggest payday with the lowest risk.

I think there aren't very many opponent that could have his ppv compete with Pacquiao's. Cintron woudl do fine but it would make it close, Williams would do better but not by much. I honestly think that if he's thinking about the $$$ then he will probably wait for the outcome of Berto/Mosley that would have big money fight written all over it; Mosley wins it's a fight everyone's been waiting for- Berto wins decisively it's be the fight everyone would want to see.

I don't think he would call Shane out after the loss, but you never know. He did call Zab out after his embarrassing loss to Baldomir. Mosley-Mayweather would be good, but honestly Shane is older and we know Mayweather has the tools to beat him without too much trouble.

He might want to shut Roach up though and take the fight.
