Comments Thread For: Cotto Makes NY Plans: Supports Juama; Eyes Foreman

In the next few days, former two division champion Miguel Cotto will depart Puerto Rico and travel to New York City. He plans to sit ringside on January 23 in Madison Square Garden to support countryman Juan Manuel Lopez as he challenges Steven Luevano for the WBO featherweight title in the main event. He will also sit down with Top Rank to go over the plans for his next fight, scheduled for June 12 at Madison Square Garden. [Click Here To Read More]

Any chance of Cotto getting a new trainer should the fight happen?

hope not to experience something like Cotto went through recently... One can hardly have a clear had after that...

P.S. he should re-unite with Evangelisto!!! Cotto is a great fighter but he is not good at training himself (hardly many people think that Santiago does more than cheer team`s duties)...
