Could Clottey/Berto end up being the "super fight"?

I know that this is perceived as the least likely occurrence but is still a real possibility.

Suppose Berto upsets Mosley and is now unified WBC/WBA ww champ. Then Floyd rather than doing nothing while Pac fights Clottey because it makes him look bad decides to fight Berto and Berto wins in what I would call a massive upset.

At the same time lets say Clottey pulls off what I view as a realistically possible upset against Pac.

We would now have the two top dogs being Berto and Clottey. If this is the super fight, could it still be considered such seeing as most ppl don't know who either of them are?

You should've also included Nate Campbell when he upsets Floyd Mayweather... just sayin'

Hell NO! Thats not saying they cant win because I think they both possibly could but I dont care if both win by brutal KO, no one will still consider this a super fight

Even if they beat the "super fighters" that everyone wanted to see? What would that make Floyd and Pac then, marketing tools?

Still this is all theoretical and the least likely scenario.

Imagine that......I could envision a situation where almost no one other than hardcore fans would care about a fight between these two even if the rare possibility occurred and they both proved to the be the best by beating they best.

It's an interesting thing to think about.

I think it could very well end up being some sort of super fight. I mean, it's for 3 world titles and probably for the Ring Magazine title, as well. You also have two fighters who beat the other top 2 in the division.

Whether it would be sold on PPV is a different story. I haven't heard of any superfights that weren't on some sort PPV. But the thing is that they aren't really that much of a big name. Would they be if they beat Pacquiao/Mosley? Maybe. But I wouldn't be surprised if it's on regular HBO or something.

It could conceivably happen, but it wouldn't be a super fight. The next super fight would probably be Bradley-Pacquiao at 140. Clottey would beat the brakes off of Berto if they they fight tho.
