He is a great, skilled fighter beyond 99% of all other boxers yet I'm unimpressed. The reason is that he has the skills but treats the sport of boxing like it owes him something. He used to be exciting to watch but now he picks fights that he knows he can easily win while maximizing his pockets. This is of course his right but it is my right as a fan to want intriguiging, tough matchups to watch and consider worthy of anticipation.

Every move Floyd makes in recent times has left me more and more turned off to his performances (if he were an average fighter, it would not make a big difference to me but considering what he could prove and achieve given his skills, it seems like a waste of talent to me). I wish he would fight Williams, Margs, or Cintron yet these names are not being considered because of some managerial issue? Please, he should be able to fight and beat them like the best fighter of all time should want to do and proceed to do.

Just like I'm tired of this catchweight stuff with Pac, I want to see Floyd fight some welters now, no more smaller guys forced to move up.

I don't disagree that Floyd is a great fighter, one of the best, but when you open your mouth, you have an obligation to the fans and to the sport, to consistently challenge yourself. You call yourself the best all you want, but show us, don't tell us! Yeah he didn't fight in the Ali era, SRR era, SRL era, but this a different era with many greats around, that have yet to be faced.

Floyd greatness does not need convincing!! period.

Obligation is a word better used for Parents, Politicans, Teachers, Students,Employee's, and Employers.
