I would love to see this fight, and it would say alot about Floyd, but my boy Money May is to smart to take a risk like this before he fight Pac-man!

I think he should fight him....Mayweather can beat him @ 147 IMO......stylistically Floyd matches up well against Paul.......

Bet me he will not fight any dangerous fighter before Manny Pacquiao.

First of all, Paul didn't look like ****. Second of all, Martinez is a better opponent than Mayweather has EVER fought in his life. Martinez would have handled Oscar EASILY at 154 two years ago. Third of all, Mayweather doesn't have the style for Paul. You got to have some heart to stand and throw shots at Williams. I agree that if Floyd fought like a real champion, he has the skillset to give Williams problems. Floyd fights with his brain and leaves his heart in the dressing room. Paul would outwork his ass and possibly stop him.

Standing/planting your feet and throwing against PW is possibly the worst strategy imaginable given PW style......Martinez didn't beat his ass doing that....he beat him by moving, controlling the distance, getting off first and throwing short hooks and shots to the mid-section....Martinez looked bad in the fight anytime he planted his feet and stopped moving and traded at Paul's distance......Quintana beat Paul by getting off first then moving his whole body away from return fire.......If Quintana can beat him so can Floyd beat Williams @ 147........Floyd is prob the only fighter with the ability to beat Paul @ 147.....Stylistically PW would thrash Clottey and he would get a decision against Shane.......styles make fights

If this fight happens. Floyd needs to be the aggressor waiting for Williams would give him problem. How could he counter punch 6'1 who has a long reach and throws lots of jab.

I don't see how he could win in waiting for Williams. What you guys think? Just my opinion.

I agree. Aside from height, pressure and high punch out
put, don't really see what else special Paul Williams imposes
on his opponents. I give him props for being willing to fight
whoever, whenever and bring the heat in the ring but watching
him against Quintana 1 and now Martinez, just confirmed that
he can be outboxed by a slick counter puncher with technical
ring ability. Paul lacks defense and someone who can adapt
to pressure well, can pick him apart. With that said, I would
love to see Floyd in there with him. It's funny how people say
Floyd will duck Paul BUT Mosley and Cotto ducked Paul AND
Freddie Roach, Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao have NEVER
mentioned Manny getting in the ring with Williams so why
does Floyd get all the heat for not fighting him?

Yes but Mayweather's THE GREATEST of all time. He must take this challenge.
