Bradely vs Mayweather > Cintron vs Mayweather but does not silience the smaller man knock on Floyd........I do not want to see him in there with Collazo or anyone else for the matter. For me it is between Bradley and Cintron...I would not mind seeing either of those fights....I do not want to see Williams vs Mayweather right now...To me Williams needs to take out Pavlik and rematch Martinez. he puts some excitement in at 154 and 160. We got enough possible match ups right now with Mosley/Berto, PAC and Mayweather. I want to see these guys get it on .....Lefty
I can't see Mayweather taking that much of a risk with Bradley especially with the big payday in the future w/ Pacaquiao. Williams is too big of a wild card. He is one of those guys that will never give up even if he is losing.

At this point, it doesn't make good business sense to pick either one of them.

I dont like the mindset that you are looking at this, saying he shouldnt take those fights because he might lose.

Collazo should be above any 140 pounder

          3. Paul Williams – Mayweather can make a huge statement by fighting Williams.
          4. Andre Berto – Berto would be a excellent choice if he beats Mosley.
          5. Sergio Martinez – Fighting this monster also would be a bold statement.
          6. Timothy Bradley – Bradley is on a roll and has the skills to give Mayweather trouble.
          7. Kermit Cintron – This one is acceptable because Cintron is big and powerful.
          8. Nate Campbell – Campbell isn’t a great choice but might be smart enough to compete.
          9. Devon Alexander – Alexander has fought at welterweight in the past.
          10. Luis Collazo – Collazo is a tough, capable guy who will make any opponent work hard.

great list, but Mayweather doesnt have to fight any of these fighters to validate his greatness. He is already great. Why do we as fans constantly act as if Mayweather has to fight mediocre fighters to secure his greatness???

This is like saying that Kobe has to win 3 more championships before we can called him an all time great..!! It is an insult.

That is a warped way of looking at it. We cant say floyd is one of the best in the sport right now because of what he has done a couple years ago. Using the kobe analogy that would be like saying kobe and the lakers dont even need to play in the championship this year to be called champs, cause they were the best last year and they are probably the best this year.

                Competely miss reading my point.
My point is that for those of us who make the argument that Mayweather can seemly never secure his greatness unless he wins his next fight against his next opponent until he loses Are being ******.

It seems after every Floyd win, there is an excuse followed by a request to do more only to accomplish the right to be called what he already is, A GREAT FIGHTER !!

IMAGINE last year after the Lakers won the championship and instead of giving them their trophy instead we tell them if you win the title next year then you can have the trophy because this year you really didnt have to play anybody to win the title. So if you win it next year then we will call you the champs.

NOW IMAGINE if we did that for 3 straight years!!!!

                THAT IS MY POINT..!!!
Mayweather is passed the point of reaching greatness.
He is at a level now, Where he is redefining the word Great.
So give him his credit, and understand he is at a point now where he is adding on to his legacy not trying to make one.
