After watching corley run from those punches cotto threw, and get literally thown to the ground with a hook id say Cotto has the potential to knock out just about anyone in the light welterweight devision or lower, and as for his skills, i think he's one of the most technically sound boxers out there. he might not win every fight he's in, but i can definitly see him being champ some time in the future.

Yea I agree Puerto Rico's boxing scene is currupt. They give their fighters the win all the time. They stopped the Cotto-Corley fight way to soon and they also robbed Margarito when he fought against Santos. No fighter should go to Puerto Rico and fight because thats an automatic loss.

i think cotto's stock has fallen because of the fight with corley everybody seems to think that he can get koed by anyone. i look at it difrently 1st. off he got nailed dead on his temple it had nothing to do with power i don't care what boxer you are or what boxer hits you if you get nailed in the temple you are going to get wobeled. i think he re-acted very well for a young fighter being hurt for the 1st. time . cotto ha alot of potential and he will only get better. a give a better shot against corales because cotto has alot of power and corales was knocked down 5 times vs. mayweather and a couple of times in his 1st. fight against casamayor neither of those guys have the power that cotto has plus i think cotto is a better boxer. the castillo fight would be alot tougher i really can't see him wining because castillo has a granite chin and the expirience factor this i apply to BOTH fights

The ref was Mexican, and Santos slaped Margarito off the Island, get over it, Mexicans are the king of robberys, when compared to us.

Santos looked scared and confused that Marguarito was still coming forward.

Backwards bro, Margarito was scared and confused cause Santos stood infront of him, which he wasnt supposed or said he was gonna do, that why everybody was shocked cause Santos said he doesnt care about pleasing the fans, Margarito allways comes foward, note that twice he got cut in the same place, to lose both times, over the same ****, against the same guy.

From what I saw dude in the late rounds before stopping, Santos was sticking and moving. He was using the ring and looked like he was running out of breath. I detected a sense of panick in him and saw relief when the stoppage came. I'm not hating that's seriously how I interpreted it.

they were doing him, and the fans a favor, cause what you dont remenber is the cut happening two or so rounds before the stoppage, the annoucers touched on the subject that it could/should be stoped earlier than it was, I remenber both in trouble a couple times, and Santos being the champion, Margarito didnt do nearly enough to get a win.
