Kostya only fought once. If you include Kostya in the mix, then Trinidad deserves a mention too, but to me "Fighter of the Year" includes the whole year and Kostya was absent most of it.Comment

I think it will go to Corrales based on his wins against Casamayor and Freitas but I say either Corrales or Tarver. I thought Casamayor beat Corrales in thier rematch and he struggled and was losing against Freitas until Acelino got tired. Tarver not only beat Jones but knocked him out after so many people thought Jones was going to beat him easily. If he beats Johnson convincingly then I think he should get the honor of being called fighter of the year. It would of been a easy decision for me if Morales would of beat Barrera.Comment
