Roy Jones Will Win The Titles Again!

    From *********.com

    Jones: Johnson-Tarver a box-off!
Former four-division world champion Roy Jones, Jr. has called the June 18 light heavyweight title rematch between Glen Johnson and Antonio Tarver a box-off to determine who will be his most worthy opponent. "If I decide to return to fight again - to right the wrongs - this box-off may decide who my first opponent will be," says Jones. "So I will be watching on June 18." Jones (49-3, 38 KOs) from Pensacola, FL is a former middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight and heavyweight world champion. His last two fights were knockout losses to Tarver (May 15, 2004) and Johnson (September 25, 2004) and he has since been on hiatus from the ring.

Doubt it. Jones seemed very shot last time out. His only chance is at heavyweight where he`d not have to weight drain and make 175 lbs. If he steps in the ring again at 175 I feel he`ll lose against a world class opponent!

Ah, but what you fail to take into account is that roy jones has been training hard almost every day since the loss to johnson. that would explain why he's looking so fit lately.

I'd love to see that happen. Of course, he'd have to let both of them tee off on his chin and temple without falling to make it really complete - and KO both with single shots.

I don't suppose it will, though....

Doesn`t matter. Jones would i feel be a force at heavyweight because of his speed and talent but he can not ever step into the ring again at lightheavy weight. He is just too big and old to drain off that kind of weight and remain effective in the ring.

if jones gets badly hurt with shots from light heavyweights, he could get seriously injured if he goes back up to heavy

What's up with Roy? In his hayday he always preached about how strong-minded he is and how he wouldn't make the mistake of other fighters by not knowing when to let go..Roy never has to work again a day in his life. He has the most important thing in life his health.. Just walk away Roy..

I hope your right, Roy ending career on a winning note would be great. I am a big Roy Jones fan, his fight with Ruiz was one of the fights that drew my attention to the sport.
