I don`t feel there is anything wrong with Roy`s chin. The loss to Tarver and Johnson i feel was because of the fact that Jones came down in weight 25 lbs. When your older ( as Jones is now ) reducing that much can effect your punch resistance. Because Jones is particularly all muscle anyway he had to lose 25lbs of muscle, this muscle also helps to absorb punches. If Jones fought at heavyweight i`m sure his punch resistance would be much better than if he drained all the fuild and muscle from his body fighting at 175!

Even if he only fought one more time(against anyone)and won that would be good. I just hate the fact that people have to remember a great fighter like Roy for his knockout loses.

Why does Roy think he's in a position to dictate anything? He looked very Derrick Gainer-ish in his last fight.

I'd like you to be right, mate. It'd hurt seeing someone as (formerly?) talented as Roy get beat by a novice like Peter.

Its usually the way it goes i`m afraid. Fighters fight till they can`t fight no more usually. Muhammad Ali is a classic example. I think in time people will look at Roy in retrospect and appreciate his fights before the Johnson and Tarver loss. Its only because they are recent that people are constantly judging Roy on these fights.

Roy's not winning any boxing titles again. I think any knowledgeable boxing fans no more judge him off his last two losses than judge ANY fighters like Cuevas or Matthew Saad Muhammad off their final records.

Obviously they fought long after their heyday and in Roy's case, if he keeps fighting he'll end up with double digit losses like them.

Jones is not an EXCELLENT boxer, he was just so naturally fast.

He could make mistakes and get away with it.

When ALI fought george, he has lost his legs, but he adapted , ropeadope, standing still etc etc

Jones cannot adapt, he let his speed do everything, now past 35 he will never have that again.

I would look for any decent fighter from 160 up to KO jones, his time is up. Seriously he has aged a lifetime, yes the weight may have been a question, but I think the simple fact that he could add 20 plus pounds of pure muscle and loose it again, asks alot more questions in itself.

Also its a bit ****y of Jones to say that the winner of this fight is "worthy" to fight him LOL

The both knocked him the **** out after all, and both quite viciously.

I say Jones retire , cause you really had it , but not any more.

                      My 2 cents
