If the CSAC did say it then it is, they didn't get suspended for no reason. Why would they suspend Margo when the state of California can make tons of revenue in having Margo fighting in their state where he was the most popular?

either way my boy antonio margarito will come back as strong as ever and all the so called boxing experts can cry ..***** and moan all they ..look give the man his just due after he beat the great miguel cotto he took on a fighter that hardly anybody wanats to fights..shane mosley and so what so shane mosley knocked him..it takes alot of heart to face a man with skills and speed to burn..look at the superstar floyd mayweather..what a joke.. a pretty boy in boxing gloves..well like it or not margarito is coming back with a vengeance

Whatever he did wrong he already paid the price for, a year suspension and a tainted name from most people in the boxing world. He never got to use these alleged wraps, and no real evidence was ever presented and confirmed as being plaster of paris casts, only conspiracy theories.

i personally disagree with you he did not pay the price for his crimes, if you get caught loading your gloves you should be BANNED FOR LIFE imo why would luis resto and panama lewis get banned for life and jail time for the same offence but marg only got a one year suspension and no jail time?

well then what ahppened to shane mosley ? no fine or suspension..what happened to james toney ? suspension and a fine..what happened to fernando vargas ? the same thing as toney but a 900,000 dollar fine..the only thing that matters is that the boxer in this case is antonio margarito and he will be back stronger than ever so be on the look out

Then why every boxing site that talks about it says something different. I keep reading "plaster-like substance" "su****ious substance" "loaded wraps" "pink substance" "hardened gauze". What is it then? can't the CSAC make up their damn mind and say what that "misterious substance" really was? how hard can it be?

I don't have the link, the wraps got submitted to the DA office to see if any criminal charges were gonna come out of this. It got sent to the lab and when you read the report all the ingredients in plaster were present. Trainer and boxer got suspended and as we all know the trainer stated that it was his mistake and Margo didn't know what was going on.

Bob Arum tried to make a case out of it that it was the handcream that they detected but the amout of substance was to substantial so they drop that notion. I don't buy into all the other theories of pink substance or all other nonesene that this has generated.

It is well documented as soon as I find atleast the source I'll send you a private message and you can compare the substance yourself.

And you are right in a sense, but those boxers enhanced their bodies. Margo tried to bring a weapon in the ring. Hit somebody with any object that is not your own body and see how quickly they will charge you with a felonious assault

And the only way he will climb back is to win and win consistantly and impressively. Everybody loves a winner and are willing to forget for the time being, but that is his only way out of all of this negative press

Then why wasn't he charged with criminal charges as well? listen I don't buy what he said about not knowing what his trainer was putting on his hands either, this whole thing was shaddy from the start, but it seems to me this was blown out of proportion to be made an example of, all around the same time all these ballplayers were coming out confessing they all took steroids.

I honestly think this man was the scape goat, so he made a mistake, fine, suspend him and make him do his time, which he has. If the charges and the evidence was so conclusive why wasn't he banned from the sport forever then? it just doesn't make any sense my friend.

i think you hit the nail on the head with that statement...Arum is about dollars and cents and it makes sense to have cheatarito to fight in dallas because of the demographic dallas fort worth area. Im a mexican here in Dallas arum and there is plenty of mexicans here to fork up there funds to fill the stadium and to boost the ppv buys. Im not in support of him ever fighting again period. I planned on going to see pac fight at cowboys stadium but now im having second thoughts about purchasing a ticket. I am not a pac fan but a boxing fan so i think clottey's pee a boo defense is interesting enough to want to tune in..I wont fork out the $ for a ppv i will just have to watch at a buddy's home..im not going to spend my cash on a cheat thats just my opinion..The only $ coming out of my pocket would be for wings and beer...out
