Here is a direct quote from the BoxRec site, no plaster like substance found eh? and if nothing was found why was he suspended?

        "Controversy

Before the fight, Officials found what one doctor described as plaster hidden in the wrapped hands of Margarito, leading to accusations that Margarito may have been trying to cheat. According to Judd Burstein, the attorney for Mosley, Margarito had wet pads in the wrapping. Mosley's doctor, Robert Olvera, likened the material to the type of plaster used to make casts. Burstein said he seized the pad removed from the wrapping and another pad found in Margarito's dressing room. Both were placed in a sealed box that was given to Dean Lohuis of the California Boxing Commission for further study. After the su****ious pads were removed from Margarito's dressing room, the boxer's hands were rewrapped and the fight went off on time.[1] On January 28, Margarito and his trainer, Javier Capetillo, had their licenses temporarily suspended by the California State Athletic Commission.[2]"

"Pink substance"? that could very well be his own blood, Cotto's blood, red stain from the gloves, what does that have anything to do with plaster? I honestly don't get it. I don't give a damn what you think, I just want to see this man fight and take names.

but i can see why people like margarito hes a come forward all action fighter not scared of anyone, but anyone who cheats the way he did isnt cool in my book and i dont think he should be allowed to compete in this sport anymore
I just don't see how this guy keeps getting support. I was a big Margo fan and was disgusted when he was caught, I simply cannot defend that or support it. I guess ppl remember him as this warrior and want to see more and refuse to believe that the plaster had everything to do with it.

They can spin it all they want but in the end he got caught. He shouldn't be re-licensed ever again

              Right here.

Margarito doesn't have a license. He probably WON'T get licensed, which is why his manager is so tentative.

**** margarito and anyone who supports him. God damn criminal cheater.

i agree completely, but i dont think the plaster had EVERYTHING to do with his success, he is a skilled boxer but the plaster definitely gave him a leg up on his competition

Nothing in this wall of text said that it was indeed plaster of paris all I read was "substance" and "wet pads", where is the real evidence? up to this day nothing has been said about such alleged pads, just a bunch of conspiracy theories, this man is innocent.

Margo was ready to put Shane's life at risk, thank God Nasim caught him before the act could be committed. He deserves to be banned for life and he should have served jail time.
